I was just talking to a friend of mine about what I'll be getting for the boys (10 & 8) for Christmas . . . and she actually brought up getting them some comics.
She mentioned Teen Titans but what else is out there really?
They're both into Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh but I'm not sure what else (I've never seen them do anything else).
Anyone have any suggestions?

You could try DEXTER'S LAB or LOONEY TUNES -- they're always good, and the characters are recognizable to young'uns.
Or if they think they're too old for that kinda stuff (though I'm pushing 30 and I still love comics like those, along with UNCLE SCROOGE, DONALD DUCK, and WALT DISNEY'S COMICS AND STORIES and the like), you could try picking up some super-hero "starter" comics like BATMAN: GOTHAM ADVENTURES or the JUSTICE LEAGUE ADVENTURES books. Good art and good, solid storytelling.

The besto one to go for, in my opinion, would be Batman Adventures. Not only is it intended for all ages, but it is the best-written Bat-book right now.
Apparently the new Teen Titans Go! that has just premiered is also geared for the younger set, but is well-written. Doesn't help that these two are based on the TV shows, too.

Hey, there are a lot of books out there . . . and I don't know everything. I'm still fairly new to comics myself (less than 10 years).
I will be asking the guy at my comic shop for input too, but I figured, I would come here and ask others who know more than I do, about what might be good or of interest to 10 and 8 year old boys.

Well, they wouldn't need the real kiddie stuff. At that age, I'm sure they'd be fine with the lower tier stuff. Like you stated, Teen Titans is a good choice. Outsiders. Ultimate/Spectacular Spider-Man. Anything in Marvel's Tsunami line.

I wasn't slamming you Bianca, I was slamming the publishers for narrowing their product line to all but exclude kids from becoming new readers.
