In your opinion Byrne brought back the original concept of Superman from 1938 (that not even Siegel and Shuster understood, according to you). You may refuse to see it, but he also took elements that were introduced in the Silver Age. So, basically, what he did was taking old stuff and updating it. You liked it, so it was original and it should stay forever and ever and every Superman fan in the planet should like it and embrace it as the origin, etc. You didn't like the new one so it's unoriginal, pathetic, everyone should hate it and if someone doesn't he's stupid. You can't deny of this.
