You're confusing, lol...
I never said I hate every kind of continuity, I just hate the unnecessary forced one. For example, if Wolfman and Perez didn't think the framing sequence would be the best for the comic and DC forced to do it "to respect continuity" then I would be against it. Continuity is a tool like many others that writers can choose to use or ignore depending on the case. When continuity gets in the way of telling a good story then, as I've said many times before, it can go fuck itself.
