Well, yeah -- I think we all realize that mutants have got to be our genetic superiors. After all, according to the theory of evolution, it is the process of mutation that has evolved us into the intelligent creatures (relatively speaking) we are today. The mutants with beneficial mutations obviously then must be a step or three up the evolutionary ladder since, besides being able to do anything we can do, they can do things we could never do.
On a related note, has anyone here read the novel ODD JOHN? It's a 1930s science fiction novel about a mutant who is even more xenophobic about humanity than Magneto is. Odd John eventually finds other mutants and establishes a colony which, in the end, ends up getting destroyed by a jealous humanity... or so I'm told. I haven't read it yet.
