So Yz is the imp inside Jakeem's pen? I'm forgetting my Morrison. I remembered Yz from the JLA/JSA crossover, but I forgot how the story ended.
If Yz is the imp inside the pen, then TK's transaction is null and void. TK, you get the money back, and you can bid on Mxy or Bat-Mite or Qisp (sp?) or whoever that Aquaman imp was.
But on the other hand, now that Johnny Thunder has merged with the imp, one could make an argument that the combined Yz/Johnny Thunder is a new character entirely, in which case TK's transaction can go through, and everyone is happy. But all this is based on my own faulty assumptions and sketchy readings of the source material, so I'm counting on the true comic-book experts among us to unravel this bit of metaphysics in a fair and gentlemanly fashion.
Now, Mr. Nowhereman, the folks who bid on Green Lantern characters used the real names of the properties as a convenience to all of us, but I think we all assumed that the Green Lantern aspect was part of the deal. I know I did. Your ingenious argument is worthy of a court of law -- I can't fault you on your logic, but I must state for the record that the GL deals that I brokered were done with the assumption that the GLs, not just the civilian identities, were being sold. So if you want to enter a bid for the Guardians, please, by all means, do so, but I'm afraid I can't sell you the rights to the franchise.
On to Mr. Pig. I suggest in light of the above, please reconsider your bid for the fully functional Green Lantern rings, the Surfer's surfboard, et cetera.
