I finished my Grant Morrison JLA collections last week by picking up his final trade, World War III. This is what the entire run was leading up to, the coming of Mageddon. This is supposed to be the greatest story Grant will ever tell.
And for the most part, it is. Until you get to the end of the last part... where the entire conflict is resolved by Superman's high willpower in two pages. I mean, how anti-climatic can you get? I loved the rest of the story, but wow that ending sucked. Was anyone else let down by it?
