I know it's late, but I just got Queen & Country #16, with new artist Colleen Doran - and I though it was horrendous. Not bad art, just (just!) a bad match. Somehow, all her people look kinda jolly and sweet, good for relationship stories but not on this spy series. The only worse thing would be if I'd drawn it myself. Or maybe Wendy Pini.

Love Fights #1 by Andi Watson - interesting concept, sort of like Astro City but the story of the ordinary people living there - okay - I'll get another few issues to see how it develops. Probably a chick comic, but I'm a chick.

Rex Mundi #4 - best of the lot, I really enjoy this series set in 1930s France in an alternate history in which the Inquisition is still going strong. Illuminati-type stuff. This issue was a bit slower than the previous ones, but good.

The Losers #1 - this I liked too, the classic underdogs-with-incredible-skills
-and-canniness take on the CIA. They're noble, too. And an excellent female role-model, if you want your daughters bombing tanks and cutting throats and other male body parts.

In my God honest opinion, Amaz. Spider-Man is the best title I pick up right now. HERO and 411 are good, but I've been with ASM longer. JMS' run on the title has been dramatic, action-packed, comedic, and just plain riveting for me. Issue 54 was no exception. I especially love the conversations Spidey has with Leutenant Lemont, they're always a crack-up.

FKATJL #1 (I liked this one quite a bit--- it took me back to the late 80's, but in a good way.)

Superman: Birthright #1 (Very good comic--- hope it stays good.)

Latest issue of New X-Men (Pretty damn cool--- looking forward to seeing more of "The World".)

Action #805 (I thought this was a decent issue--- and I liked the scenes with Lex and Metallo.)

JSA: All-Stars #3 (Pretty crappy, imho. I'm just not liking this mini-series much at all.))

Battle of the Planets #11: Good, but the writer needs work on his dialogue.

Ghost in the Shell 2: Man Machine Interface #5: Christ, what language are these characters speaking. It's impossible to understand.

Formerly Known as Justice League #1: Great stuff. The gang's still got it.

Wolverine/Doop #2: Good, but I prefer X-Statix. And reading the first issue would help.

New X-Men #144: It feels like Morrie finally started really getting into it after a long hiatus.
