For me it would be Batmans first appearance in Detective Comics. And theres more reasoning to that besides him just being one of my favorite heroes. Thimk about it- Without Detective Comics DC comics would never exist and all the other character could either perish into limbo or be bought by another company. Imagine Marvel with Superman or Green Lantern. [whaaaa!]
