Superboy and Ultra Boy are attending Pete Ross' birthday party in 20th century Smallville. For some reason, even though they can both travel through time, this means that they'll have to miss a Legion meeting in the 30th century. So they both build exact robot duplicates of themselves to fly to the future, announce that they're not really Superboy and Ultra Boy, and attend the meeting in their place.
