But Adventures and Action have both been around since the 1930s. You can't cancel those titles. The only one you could scrap without causing an uproar is Superman, because it's the youngest of the bunch.
Again, I propose the following:
1. Cancel Superman.
2. Change The Adventures of Superman back to Superman (as it was from 1939-1986), and make it the in-continuity Superman title.
3. Keep Action, but make it an anthology book with rotating creative teams telling the Superman stories of their fancy. No rules, no need to adhere to continuity, just tell the stories you want and run wild.
The end result would be two Superman books. One in the mainline continuity, the other as an anthology. Why wouldn't this work?
