Son of a...it's bad enough they ruined the Batman movies. Now they have to ruin the good reputation of the Animated Series? The show that won a Best Daytime Drama Emmy?
i'm hoping this is a hoax or a mistake. The fact that there's no mention of this anywhere else is comforting.

You've actually managed to amaze me and make me cry both at the same time. How in the world can a company as big as Warner Bros allow people so retarded as Jon Peters (or the Salkinds or Golan or Globus(??) and Tim Burton to run amok with some of their most valuable properties???!!!
My eyes still burn with some of the details of Jon Peter's ideas for this film. And this only adds fuel to my beleifs that Burton is an overrated goth retard.

They ARE that stupid. As for the fiasco over the Abrams script, they've just made minor adjustments to it, but are keeping it largely intact. They want to go ahead with this re-imagining come hell or high water, with Peters firmly in charge. (Remember, they've been shutting out people who could actually make a good Superman movie because of their faith in Peters). The only reason this movie isn't going forward is because of infighting between Peters/WB and the people they're trying to get to direct this movie.
I really should post up the rest of the BS that's been circulating around this movie sometime....
