that was a pretty fuckin cool set up, chewy!! very nice. plus, i really like this match up. its a cool pairing.
now, my opinions... first off, i really dislike daredevil. his super power? lack of sight. i have a lack of height, but im notta super hero. my uncle has a lack of hair, but he's no super hero. but... when written well (*cough*frankmiller*cough*), the character is pretty frickin cool, and you can see there's definite power. he is a super hero.
dr (fraiser) crane's toxin is incredibly powerful, except for one major flaw. ... it has never worked for any substantial period of time on any one who falls in the "hero" category. apparently, as soon as you put on a mask or a cape or something, you're able to withstand the toxin after a few hours. shockingly, scarecrow always forgets that, as each time the hero comes out of the trance, he says "its impossible!" or something like that.
but, ill take that character as his best, too. and, really, the best representation i've ever seen of the scarecrow would be BTAS -- specifically the WB years. where the scarecrow actually LOOKED scary for once, his body a twisted and rotting, hung corpse. so cool. all that, and he can use his powers! he messed up batgirl somethin fierce in arguably the best episode ever, "over the edge."
and, tho initially, i thought daredevil's lack of sight might be a bonus to matt, since he can't see all the horrible illusions batman and robin (etc) see... now im thinking daredevil's enhanced senses would fuck him up even moreso.
instead of batman just hearing a creepy voice, daredevil might hear a SCREAMING creepy voice -- or a thousand screaming, creepy voices. instead of feeling 10 spiders on his hand, daredevil might feel 10 million spiders, with thorny legs and biting fangs on his hands.
surely, that would be enough to topple the crimson crusader for a substantial period of time. long enough, anyway, for scarecrow's goons to grab him and bring him to the kingpin.
granted, matty boy would more than likely beat it out and escape from the fat ass, .... but thats all after being "defeated" by scarecrow.
