I never could stand their take on the blues, though.
It is painful at times. Page is too much the technician to pull off the blues completely. He tends to play from the mind instead of the heart.
Plant and Bonham should have been able to compensate for that, but it doesn't work. It's all excess, with not enough heart or feel.
