I like Birds of Fire very much!
And if you like them, you might
also enjoy the music of Jean Luc
Ponty.
Another few groups I forgot to
mention :
Fairport Convention
The Move - ( Specially Love
Shazam! )
Nirvana
The Rolling Stones
Everclear
The Moody Blues ( First seven albums
were excellent, IMO. )
The Soundtrack to the movie,
" Oh Brother, Where art thou? "
I like that one a lot.
Other albums I enjoy :
The Moody Blues - To our Childrens'
Childrens' Children.
Echoes - Best Of Pink Floyd.
Renaissance - Turn of the Cards
A LOT of Van Morrison's stuff.
Metallica - Load.
Genesis - a Trick of the Tail.
The Yardbirds - Rhythm & Blues
James Taylor - The Best of
Bob Dylan - Blood on the tracks, Highway 61 Revisited.
Dr John - The Very best of.
48 Classic Blues Tracks - 3 Cd Box Set
- Classic Blues
When I mentioned The Who - Sellout -
In my Top ten , I meant the Newer
Cd, with TEN additional Bonus tracks,
Including Early Cold Morning Taxi,
Glittering Girl, Melancholia, Girl's
Eyes, Hall of the Mountain King.
The 10 extra tracks were from various
recording sessions in 1967, and I really
like the Tunes!!! This Cd is Like Odds and
Sods - The Prequel. If you like The Who,
I feel you'll enjoy this CD.
Happy Jack , also by The Who, is pretty
cool too. That came out Early in 1967.
Maybe When I am not so tired ( It is 1:30
am here in Phila. ) I will start a thread
asking what Your Top Ten Favorite Songs
are.
