As a way to bring back MANY fan-fave un-rebooted villains at once, I too vote either the LSV or a true DEVIL'S DOZEN...

I choose Nardo! Complete with plenty of unrebooted minor characters stocking his Super-Stalag of Space!

I'm going to have to join the LSV bandwagon. Though I would settle for the return of the Lightning Lord and perhaps Saturn Queen and Cosmic King.

Tarik the mute and his android. Black mace I’d like to see black mace and the persuader doing what they are supposed to be. i.e. enforcers for a criminal gang.

My first vote goes to Universo. After him I'd like to see the LSV return with Mekt running the show.
How about Starfinger? I'd like to see DnA's take on him/her.

I dunno about Starfinger. I mean...I havent really read any pre-boot Starfinger stuff. But from the post boot Starfinger that I saw...I kinda hope to never see him again.

Has Starfinger showed up since Zero Hour? I have to admit, most of my Legion reading, prior to Legion of the Damned, was pre-boot. I have been able to get most of the post-boot issues of LSH and L* but don't recall seeing Starfinger in any of them.

My main reason for wanting to see the return of the 'LSV' is ....
i want to see the 'LEGION' up against another super powered team !!!
all those colourful costumed characters fighting each other !!!
since DnA have been on board, each villain has been a 'race' of beings !!!
i wanna see a SUPER VILLAIN !!!
Matthew.

Not that he's been called such, but I have heard the name used to refer to Jan Arrah, when he was brainwashed by President Chu into attacking the Legion...

Oh and I also want to see a return for Grimbor the Chainsman. I don't know why, but I've always liked him. Maybe I have some secret bondage fetish that I don't even know about. I dunno. But I wanna see Grimbor try to chain the earth again, that issue rocked.

Yea...I know. That was a pretty crummy little story though. And Charma showed up also. But I really don't remember her fate by the end of that storyline. I just remember Invisible Kid 2 briefly showed up.
But I wanna see Grimbor back, and I mean back as like a major threat. Though think about it. Sure that Grimbor story was pretty bad. But now he has a history with the Legion. He'd have a reason to grow in power and try to take them out. Besides the whole obsessive over Charma thing.

They definitely need a more robust rogues gallery.
Bring back the LSV under the tutelage of Tariq the Mute, I always liked the idea if a school where disgruntled wannabe legionaires get turned to "the dark side"

I'm gonna jump on the Legion of Super-Villains bandwagon.
Historically speaking, weren't they the Legion's very first real adversary? Or does Lex count for that?

Evillo, with his two daughters from the 5 Yrs Later story - the daughters could be good guys or bad guys. An LSV team would be great, combining everyone's favorite evil-doers.
I liked Grimbor, too - I thought it was sad the way he loved Charma and she just manipulated him - guys that do dumb things for beautiful women, sigh.

Actually if you really get down to it. I really just want the Legion to fight somebody from their own century. I mean. Sure...having a 20th Century Villain pop up is okay sometimes. But to me they sacrificed a cool protaganist (Leland McCauley) to intoduce Ra's Al Ghul into the 30th Century.
Something I think really didnt need to be done.

The Legion needs a decent female villain. The Emerald Empress was rebooted into a weaker version called simply the Empress. Back in the Legion's Action Comics days, there was a recurring villainess (if you can call two appearances "recurring") called Uli Algor. Other than that, there really hasn't been a memorable female villain, with the possible exception of Ambassador Thora (from Adventure Comics # 368).

Jack-- I hadn't considered that McCauley was sacrificed for Ras. Maybe LORI will stake claim to his empire and take his place as pain-in-Legion's-ass.
As for femme villains:
Put QUICKSAND, STARLIGHT, STARBRIGHT, SILVER SLASHER, TITANIA, MYSTELOR, CARESS, FLARE, ESPER LASS, CHARMA and TWINE together and let 'em bust some heads... throw in 1 of those femme White-Triangle DAXAMITES to boost the power-levels (call her SATAN GIRL) and we might have a serious all-femme threat...!

I would love to see DnA create some new threat for the team to face, all new. No previous incarnations, post or pre boot. They created Shikari and did a great job. Now let's see them swing it the other way and create a real bad ass villain to mess with our heroes. Better yet, a team of trouble makers... Something to really test their mettle.

Definitely Nardo, and I ain't talking Elaine from the Taxi TV series.
During his one storyline, Lightning Lad grew his arm back, Bouncing Boy got his powers back and Matter Eater Lad was no longer the tub of lard he was transformed into. Done right, a lot of clean up could be done with the proper storyline.
As a sidenote, Plant Lad, Blockade Boy and Weight Wizard were introduced, though only for this story arc.
Love to see the return of Black Mace and the Taurus Gang, Evillo and a FULL Devil's Dozen, Dr. Regulus and a League of Super Assasins.

Well, there's Singularity and the team he's creating .... I hope DnA will get back to them soon. They look to be another "Legion of Supervillain" type team -- but rather than have personal grudges against them, this team seems to be diametrically opposed in terms of worldview. The Legion's all about strength through diversity but Singularity's about everyone giving up their identities and becoming the same (which can also be said for Robotica, and Blight, no?)

Has Glorith been rebooted? I don't remember.
Either way, I'd LOVE to see a more preboot version of the Emerald Empress!! It was too bad Sarya died, but with the reboot, she can come back!
