...of Maxim's Top 5 lamest heroes who has NEVER had his own series? And shouldn't this be rectified?

YES, we've already established a suport base for a MATTER-EATER LAD series.

ALL Legion completists would buy it...

I would DEFINITELY buy a Matter Eater Series.

Would you buy it if it was written by Me, EDE and ass.-edited by TD?

Okay, so does this sound like a plan for the first year?

#1: Set-up issue, reveals that Tenzil has been elected Senator on Bismoll and sets up his leaving Bismoll with Calorie Queen and Lester Spiffany in tow.

#2-#6: Devil's Dozen arc. Tenzil & co. land on Tartarus, and foil Evillo's evil plots. Features introduction of new Devil's Dozen, the overthrow of Evillo, the redemption of Sugyn, and the formation of the new Tartarus super-hero team under the leadership of Polar Boy. Along the way, Brek reveals his and Lydda's ill-fated attempts to form a Legion of Substitute-Heroes while the regular Legion was disbanded. Before they could make a difference, they were imprisoned in the Super-Stalag of Space, and just barely managed to escape. Tenzil vows to investigate this "Super-Stalag".

#7: Flashback story about Tenzil's life, his dysfunctional family, and his horrid date with Eyeful Ethel. I wonder whatever became of her?

#8: On their way to find the Super-Stalag, Tenzil and friends defeat a band of villainesses with chilli.

#9-#11: Super-Stalag arc. Introduction of rebooted Dev-em, lots of super-fatassing. Lester's crush on Tenzil is tested by the appearance of the new Daxamite hunk.

#12: Spotlight on the super-fatassed Lester. Why isn't every issue a spotlight on Lester, he wonders?

How does that sound guys?

It sounds PERFECT to me. But it must pass the TD test.

So, when do we begin writing the scripts...?

I understand Tenzil makes a 1-panel appearance....

And to explain why relations with TARTARUS are so important to BISMOLL, they can be celestial neighbors.

I don't think any map published postboot has stated otherwise....

Don't worry about Tenzil's appearance in Legion #20, it's all in a cool dream sequence.

So TD, any editorial input, or can we start churning out the scripts?

I have six words for you:

"Trust me. I'm a substitute senator."

SUBSTITUTE SENATOR Works for me! Mayhap all candidates who come in SECOND place are deemed the Sub for all the menial and unwanted tasks and such (such as goodwill ambassador to Tartarus!) And this would free up more of Tenz' time for wacky adventures!

Well, I kind of liked the idea that he was a full-fledged Senator just wasting the taxpayers' money on adventures, but whatever y'all think is okay with me!

HE calls himself a substitute senator, but officially he was drafted as a Senator-At-Large (hellooooo, fatassing story!)

And as for the super-fatassing story, whomever gets the ray will become quite the hot things on Bismoll, won't they?

Isn't it illegal to be overweight on Bismoll?

I didn't realize/remember that!!

If so... I can't wait to do the story where the gang gets arrested and thrown into.. FAT CAMP!!! pun intended, 'cuz the issue is gonna be campy as hell!

Yeah, that's pretty funny. They escape the Super-Stalag only to be imprisoned by the Bismollians!

But it's only illegal to consume excessive amounts of resources. And maybe things have changed with new contracts with other planets to dispose of "waste".

(If you follow the Calorie Police thing too closely, it spells TROUBLE for Cal.)

Although Chlor did get busted by the CP just by showing up on Bismoll - but that was pre-boot and not 'zackly in-continuity.

Nah, we gotta show 'em we got the goods FIRST-- I mean, I've waited all my life for someone to walk up to me and say, "My God. You're Fabulous!" but it hasn't happened yet.

Sometimes you gotta shove your fabulousness in their face!

So EDE, who's doing the plots, who's doing the dialogue? Let's get crackin' on issue 1!

Sounds good. We'll reveal that the assassination took place BEFORE the LLosters got back.... Tenz was drafted for the office, which would explain why he hasn't shown up in the LEGION series yet...

So where does Lester come in?

He's TDs baby... she probably has her own ideas...

But maybe he met Cal somehow while shopping...? Maybe he was about to get his rich ass robbed and Cal put the smackdown on the perp?

Maybe they then became friends and he just so happens to be visiting Cal when this is going on...? Looking through her holophoto albums... finding himself oddly attracted to the dark-haired Legionnaire-asscociate chef-friend she's known for years...?

The "saved at a shopping mall" stuff sounds to complicated. Maybe there's some reason that he has to get a job, and his father arranges that he get the seemingly plush position of aide to the brand-new Senator?
