Ok, this is how this thing will go. Everyone gets to nominate movies for the list of the worst movies ever made. We'll pretty much keep the noms open until it seems to die down. I'm not putting a cap on it, so nominate until your eyes explode. Then, we'll either pick out a top list of movies that were nominated the most or just a straight out poll. It just depends on how it goes.

Now, get ta hatin':

I'm surprised that no one has said Batman & Robin. Well, here's my list, for starters:
  • Batman & Robin
  • DC Cabs (shitty 80's comedy by Schuemaker staring Mr. T & the Barbarian brothers)
  • Battlefield Earth
  • Mortal Kombat: Annihilation
  • Fantastic Four

I'll also second the Crow: City of Angels, Captain America, and Star Trek V.

As I see it, if someone nominates a movie that no one's heard of, it won't get voted on in the finals. I could easily break out some horrible, horrible films from my days as a film student, but if no one else knows about them, it's pretty useless. I've pretty much left it up to people's *GASP* [whaaaa!] common sense.

Not THE absolute worst, but I'm in a mood to pick on sequels....

Ghostbusters II (Almost beat for beat, the same as the first...not bad, but I expected SO much more!)

Jaws IV ("This time it's personal"?????)

Hellraiser IV (A...an Alan Smitthee film! Inexplicably goes from past to present to future, and doesn't have any of the Hellraiser regulars except for Pinhead...)

Legally Blonde II (Obviously made by folks who never saw #1...I was forced to watch the first and cringed the whole way threw...)

I'll agree with Free Willy (any of them), Glitter, Lawnmower Man II, and the later Leprechauns (I mean, he went into space? To the 'hood? Wha???? The "space" one was particularly annoying, since it had the second "Tool Time" girl from Home Improvement...and didn't even give us the small victory of seeing her naked, though the Leprechaun attacked while she was getting ready for sex...)

I also want to add E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial (remade version) (heck, I hated the original, but even MORE SO with the PC "no terrorists or guns" version...)

I didn't think A.I was that bad....just the last 20 minutes. They should have ended the movie with Osment looking at the statue of the blue fairy.

I nominate:

Tammy and the T-Rex
Waterworld
Leprechaun 4: Leprechaun in Space
Wishmaster 3
Jason X
Halloween: Ressurection
Alien: Ressurection
Going Overboard
Lawnmower Man 2
Kazaam
Steel
Rollerball
Double Dragon
The Avengers
Freddy Got Fingered

Ditto. But Spielberg is scared to death of doing an ending people will hate. Look at Minority Report.

Batman and Robin
Superman IV
Highlander II

Can't think of anything else at the time. I know it's weird, but I usually don't watch bad movies. The only really bad ones I've watched are the ones that are sequels to movies I liked, and some classics (like the first Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and Ed Wood's stuff).

Considering Suspiria was utter shit itself..........

Let's see... I don't watch much crappy movies, unless I unknowingly wander into one of them...
My nominations are:
  • 8 Women: Awful, AWFUL french movie. One more reason to hate the french, if we didn't have enough. And it's quite recent, but for the love of God, DON'T SEE IT!
  • Batman & Robin
  • The Devil's Own
  • Episode II: The neverending piece of crap
  • Daredevil

And D.C. Cab was pretty good!
