JLR Occupation: X-Factor; chaos agent; the guy you wanna hurl at a charging army or a golem.
Age: 21 Height: 5"11' Eyes: Green/Grey Hair: Black Skin: Olive
Residence: The Farmhouse of Justice; various couches in New Brunswick
Powers: La Machine's abilities are in direct proportion with the overall winning performance of the New Jersey Nets. Thus he can gain augmented powers based on qualities such as Jason Kidd's quickness; eyesight, Kenyon Martin's toughness, Dikembe Mutombo's strength....etc.
Weaknesses: Unfortunately, when the Nets do not do well as a team, neither does La Machine. Currently at the time of this record, he has little to nothing in abilities because of the Nets poor poor defeat at the hands of the Sacramento Kings. La Machine also, while incredibly bright, is easily distracted and gets hung up about trivial things like "other people hogging the bathroom" or "the dryer never working properly" He also walks around with a big target over his Nets Jersey, despite his teammates pleas to take it off.
Background: It was during a game between the New Jersey Nets and the Miami Heat that a hardcore Nets fan was dared by his friends to steal the hair gel bottle of Heat coach Pat Riley. As he attempted, Coach Riley caught him on the sidelines and was about to drag him off to security when a bolt of lightning struck through the roof and connected with both Riley and the fan. The shock, along with the hair gel and the fan's pager which had been acting on the fritz as of late, activated a strange power in both victims. Riley's every cell structure was replaced with gel, and gained extreme porous abilities. Now known as "The Slime", he coaches by day, and terrorizes Miami by night. The fan however, became electropsionically in "tune" with the playing ability of the Nets. Now known as La Machine. He battles Riley along with anyone else who try to thwart the Nets's ambitions for a championship.
Motivations: To rid the world of evil, defeat Riley, help the Nets to a championship, and excel at Fantasy Basketball.
