Night had fallen over the darkened City of New Troy. Tall silver skyscrapers illuminated the clouds with a light blue hue over the dark blue sky. A well-dressed young man walks down the street, for he had a secret, uncanny strength and sences. His name, unknown. His age, unknown. By all public accounts, he doesn't exist. Never has, nor will he ever. He opens his brief case, taking out a file, with a picture on it. The picture is of an older man, wore by the ages. Francis Todman Sr. of the TX-i Corp. Wanted for selling military secrets to terrorists across the World. Scum. The man steps into the building, and is quickly blocked by security guards. "By order of the M.B.L. I am here to arrest Francis Todman Sr. Step aside." "I am sorry, but we have orders to not allow any-" "Move. Or by all accounts this will be taken as a threat to World Security." The guards stand firm, their weapons drawn. "I will not ask again." Two gurads step aside and the young man walks past, on guard presses softly on his trigger, but before a bullet is fired, the young man turns with two silver-45s drawn. Two bullets rip through the guards shoulders, the gun falls from his hand as his body slumps to the ground, alive but unconcious from shock. "Anyone else?" The guards drop their weapons and place their hands over their heads. The young man walks toward the elevator, pressing the button for the top floor. [ 04-14-2002: Message edited by: GoozX ]

The grizzled-looking, middle-aged man rubbed his eyes as he sat in front of his computer console. It had taken him a while to learn it, but then it had been a necessity. Could anyone get by without computer skills nowadays? No, not unless you lived in the Third World or under a rock. He finally stopped tapping numbers into the electromagnetically surface-sensitive, built-in desk keyboard and rose. He could always get back to number-crunching later. Right now he realized he was late. His daughter was gonna kill him. "Mr. Plant!" Jess Plant stopped and turned around slowly at the authoritative voice. "Yes, sir? How may I help you?" he said in proper English as always. "I expected the Parker-Kent report on my desk YESTERDAY!" growled his boss, a 21-year-old young woman named Brittany. "What's with the HOLD-UP?" "I am sorry, sir. It will be on your desk no later than eighteen-hundred hours today." "It'd better be, or it's YOUR ASS, Plant!" "Thank you, sir," he replied, rubbing his hands through his greying sandy-blonde hair. "You have my word." Jess Plant turned and walked out of the office before he could be held up any longer. His daughter was playing grav-ball in New Manchester, and even by hovercar it was a good half an hour flight. As he hailed a hovercab from the 45th floor balcony he noticed an advertisement for the NY Times Newsfeed, and a holograph with a caption which proclaimed, "The MBL Makes World Safe For Democracy". Of course, Jess knew how to read between the lines. That simply meant that the MBL had done something particularly bloody recently and needed a bit of positive publicity in the press in order to put the proper spin on things. Part of him was glad that he had walked away from the Metahuman Lifestyle years ago, even though it meant joining the Sheeple of the world, the Norms and Nancys who quietly obeyed their more powerful masters, because he no longer had to deal with the daily menaces which seemed to be caused by the very so-called "heroes" themselves. Oh, he knew they no longer even referred to themselves by that hackneyed old term, but he liked to think that the MBL once stood for heroism. No longer, though. No longer. In this, the Year of Our Lord 2025, Jess Plant -- once known as MBL member Sir Justin Plantagenet of Camelot, son of the World War II British hero the Green Knight and an otherdimensional Elvish princess -- was now merely a middle-aged, devoted husband and father, and an MBL -- not his MBL -- ran the world... 5:30 AM. A brand new day. Harrison Owens lightly tapped the blaring claxon of the alarm next to him. The second he made contact, the sound changed to a heavy beat to words. It was the music that had been popular back when his parents were alive... and it made Harrison happy to hear it. The song had something to do with the "end of the world as we know it". Harry had never really caught the words, but liked the tune just the same. After a quick shower, the black-haired 20-year-old stepped into his wardrobe, walking out a few seconds later having donned a sportscoat, a pair of khakis, and a black turtleneck. After examining his appearance in the mirror, he smiled contentedly to himself. Then, walking over to his nightstand, he picked up a small platinum ring - the one his father left him - and slid it onto the ring finger of his right hand. Harry felt that he should keep the ring with him, as a way to keep his father's memory alive. After programming his breakfast menu into his apartments Kitchen-Aid 10,000, Harry flipped a wall switch, bringing a holographic projector out of his dining room table. Immediately, news came streaming through of the victory attained last night by the MBL. Harry couldn't help but smile as the new reports streamed in. His mother had told him that his father was once a member of the MBL. Ever since, Harry had dreamed of taking his father's place in that august organization. When he was seventeen, the legal registrant age, he was turned down, due to his lack of skills and experience. However, Harry had done all he could to be some part of the team. Last year, his dream finally became a reality when he signed on as a member of the MBL staff, working full-time as an editor for the League, an MBL propaganda paper. Harry, content at the view he saw from his holo-port, smiled as his breakfast bar slid out of a slot in the wall with a *DING!* Taking a bite, Harry recognized the taste of all his breakfast favorites: eggs, bacon, sausage, hotcakes, oatmeal, toast, milk, coffee, and orange juice - all condensed into one nutritious, vitamin-enriched bar. Picking up his briefcase, Harry walked to his bay window, hailed a hovercab, and whisked himself to the office. En route, he fingered the platinum ring that his father had left him. He had never known his father, but, if his mother's word was any indication, he was a great man. Harry smiled and thought of his father - the man he only knew as the Chewy Walrus...

"Enough" Mr Davis said, putting the holo-paper down and hitting the desk with his fist. The concentration of the students in his classroom was broken. The students lifted the view from the test they were taking in the screens of their individual desks and looked at Mr Davis. After a moment, one of them spoke. "Excuse me?" a student in the front row asked. "Nothing, nothing... Don't worry" Mr Davis said, getting up from his seat "Er... I'm afraid I will have to leave you alone, class. Something has come to my attention" Mr Davis grabbed the holopaper and walked out of the classroom, leaving the 354 students in it confused. Before closing the door behind him, Mr Davis looked inside and said "I trust none of you will try to take advantage of this and try to cheat on this test. Good luck" After he was gone, one of the students laughed and said "Shhh, yeah!". As soon as he moved his view to the screen of the student sitting next to him, a short but effective electric bolt shook his body. "He's gotta be new in town if he don't know about the 'bolts'..." another student said, measuring his words so they didn't fit anything in the test and he didn't get 'bolted' too... Mr Davis walked out of the building and, as he looked for a hovercab, his eye spotted the same headline he read in the holopaper. "The MBL Makes World Safe For Democracy" "Yeah, right..." he said to himself. He looked at the picture in the advertisement, an image of the field leader of this organisation that dares calling itself the MBL: Peter McLebovich. Or Peter Campbell, as he called himself now. "Poor little Petey..." Mr Davis muttered "...letting them corrupt his ass like that" He started thinking about the nice little boy he met in the TIAMAT Institute. He met little Petey during a visit to his former teammate Mister Mxypltk, that teached at the Institute at the time. The thought of Mxy teaching still makes him laugh... or would if he could laugh in this world where he has to let the goverment punish his students with electric bolts. Mr Davis thinks about his days as Disco Steve, about how much simpler they were... He soon found a hovercab that could take him where he wanted to go. "Where to?" the hovercabbie asked. "The MBL Headquarters, please" Davis answered from the back seat. "Geez..." the hovercabbie said, surprised. "What's your bussines there...?" he then asked, not minding his own bussines. "I'm going to talk some sense into someone" Mr Davis answered "Or else" [ 05-21-2002: Message edited by: I'm Not Mister Mxypltk ]

Jess Plant was lost in his thoughts as his hovercab sped over the green fields of England towards New Manchester. Suddenly he found a gun in his face. It extended from the cab's ceiling as a safety feature, but he thought that these types of black market features had been outlawed. "Wha--?" "Do. Not. Move." The cab driver enunciated each word carefully and with utter seriousness. Jess felt an itch in his closely-cropped beard but didn't dare to scratch it. "What do you want of me?" he asked, yet unafraid. "I know who you are, 'Sir Justin of Camelot,'" said the cab driver, whose face Jess could not see, although he appeared to be an average-looking, grey-haired Pakistani man. "Oh, yes, you didn't think that your little secret identity could be kept a secret forever, did you?" Jess merely frowned and waited for an answer to his question. "Oh, I wouldn't worry so much about who I am, Mr. Plantagenet. It's you who should be worried that your identity was so easily discovered by myself. You asked what I want of you? Well, in my investigations into your background I discovered a few interesting things. Namely, that you were once offered a chance at an executive position in the MBL at the ground floor, and yet you refused. 'Why?' I wondered to myself. Surely he and his family would have been better off. Could it be that he had some moral problems?" Jess Plant sighed. "Yes, that's exactly what it was, wasn't it, Mr. Plantagenet? You knew something about the holier-than-thou MBL that you wanted no part of, not even if it meant a world free of terrorism and crime." "I knew it was impossible," said Jess. "The goal was honorable, but the methods of getting there were and are wrong. And we still haven't received that one-world utopia we were promised back then." "No, indeed. Things sure have changed since Rypta led the team..." "Just who are you?" said Jess. "I've lived by several names over the last 25 years, my friend, but the one you would know me by is Agent57." "Agent 57? But Agent57 is supposed to have died! In battle with VIPER, as I recall..." "Well, let's just say that my presumed death left me free to pursue my covert work much more easily. It also left me without any ties to the world. After all, if I was dead, then nothing I did would ever have any repercussions on my friends or family, would it?" "I find it hard to believe that you are who you say you are." "Then don't believe it. What do I care? But I'd like you to consider a few things first." At that, "Agent57" swung the hovercab down into a patch of forest and landed next to an old shed. He turned around and looked at Jess Plant with the false face he wore at the moment. "I've become aware of all that you know about the MBL and more. I know who runs the damn thing..." "Yes, Peter Campbell, but--" "No, you know what I mean. Campbell's only the figurehead. I know who the true power behind the current MBL is." "Then tell me." "Not so fast, sir knight. First, let me tell you a little story..."

Harry Owens whistled contentedly as he walked into the offices of the League - the official newspaper of the MBL... and thus, the world. Located within the massive MBL World Headquarters, which now took up the whole of Edge Island, the League was the paper to read... largely due to the fact that it was the only paper to read. Harry was proud to work for such an august group of men and women. He was part of a heritage, part of a legacy... and that felt good. He felt as though he belonged... in a way he never had. Like a family. Harry had never known his true father and his mother had died when he was twelve. Harrison Owens never knew family. He never knew friendship or alliegance. Until he joined the staff of the MBL. Here, he mattered. He was important. He accomplished things. He was accepted. And that meant more to him than life itself. "Good morning, Marion," Harry greeted as he waltzed past the desk of his secretary. "Morning edition on my desk?" "Along with your cup of Earl Grey and the day's schedule, sir!" his kindly old secretary assured him as he walked by. "Thank you, Marion," Harry said. Right before he closed the door of his office, he peeked his head back through. "Oh, and, Marion?" "Yes, sir?" came the woman's response. "Hold my calls," Harry said with a smile that showed how young he really was. "Of course, sir," Marion said, waving him into his office. Walking over to his desk, Harry tossed his breifcase in the corner of the large mahogany table that was used for staff meetings and sunk into his favorite chair. His mother always told him that it was salvaged from the wreckage of Mandelovia. That it was his fathers. But he knew that this wasn't true. It was a replica, to be sure, but a comfortable one, at that. Sighing happily, Harry picked up his cup of Earl Grey and the morning edition and began to read. quote: The MBL was victorious yet again today as yet another rebellion has been quelled in the face of overwhelming diversity. It seems that the MBL put down the threat with no trouble. As usual, nothing can withstand the mighty MBL. Details are unavailable at this time, but MBL field commander Pete Campbell is currently in talks to provide more information. More news as the situation develops. Long live the MBL!
Harry stopped at that line, then re-read the section again to himself. He milled the words around in his head for awhile. Something wasn't right. The article itself was fine... but it was something about the words... He pressed his intercom button firmly as Marion's voice answered his call. "Yes, Mr. Owens?" "Marion, did you notice anything... odd about today's edition?" "Sir?" "Just answer the question, Marion," Harry said, getting more frazzled with every passing moment. "No, sir, I did not," the old woman answered. "Why, may I ask?" Harry paused. "Nothing to concern yourself with, Marion," Harry said, shaking his head. "If you could, however, get me the copy editor, the staff writer who wrote the front page article this morning, and the head of advertising in here STAT..." "What for, sir?" Marion asked, kindness in her words, but also a fair amount of confusion as well. "A meeting, Marion..." Harry said, taking a sip of his tea. "A very important meeting..."

"That's a nice way of putting it..." Peter Campbell said to himself, smiling.
Peter sat in a comfortable floating chair in his apartment in the 217th floor of the main building in the MBL World Headquarters. In the wall behind him hangs a huge holo-painting of his father, Marc Campbell, that had the honor of being the all-mighty Moderator for almost a decade. Peter is the product of an affair his father had in the 1990's with an american woman. Because of the scandal that formed when the media found out about the affair, Peter's mother was forced to move to a small country in Europe with his unborn child. Peter never met his father, but since he learned who he was he's been proud of being the son of a legend. Though Marc Campbell's time was before the MBL, Peter has said he feels he's following his father's steps since he joined this organisation.
Peter is reading the article for the sixth time when a machine in the desk in front of him starts buzzing. Peter presses and holds a button in it.
"What is it, Amanda?" he says.
"A Mr Daniel Davis is here, sir" a female voice answers from a speaker.
"Daniel Davis...? Ah, of course! Let him in" Peter says, and seconds later the door of his private elevator opens and a man in his 40's walks out of it.
"Disco Steve" Peter says standing from his seat.
"Petey McLebovich" Davis answers as they shake hands.
"It's Campbell" Peter says "And it's Peter"
Davis takes a seat in front of Peter's desk.
"So..." Peter says, getting back on his seat "What takes you here, old friend? How long has it been? 15 years? 20?"
"I read about your little number yesterday, Peter... In fact, I have been reading a lot about you and this organisation for quite some time..." Davis says.
"Oh, well, it's really something, isn't it?" Peter says with a smile, expecting his guest to be as enthusiastic about this as he is.
"Yes, it is something" Davis says, dead serious "And, let me be completely honest with you, I think this stinks"
"Excuse me...?"
"You heard me. This whole thing stinks. Right after you people took power super-villains started mysteriously dissapearing" Davis says, clearly upset.
"They are hiding in fear, that shows how effective--" Peter replies, completely calm.
"They are being MURDERED!" Davis interrupts him.
"OK... A) They are not, B) You said it, they are super-villains"
"They are people! What gives you the right to execute them in mass like that? That's genocide!"
"WE DO NOT KILL VILLAINS! In fact, we are the first to help them! We have strong super-villain rehabilitation program"
"That's right, 'Join or die'!" Davis yells, getting up from his seat "And what about what you did last year in Europe, Peter? And even before in Southamerica? This has gone on for too long!"
"You ungrateful bastard... Thanks to us, the world is finally a good place to live in, Davis!"
"Yeah, for those on your side, but what about whoever dares doubting your nice little dictatorship?"
"Dictatorship?!" Peter exclaims, offended "Get out of here immediately, Davis... I have an official statement to make soon"
"You know, part of me didn't believe you could be here aware of all this and do nothing, Peter... I guess I had to see it for myself... You think nothing can stop you, don't you? You're wrong, Peter, you're very wrong..."
"Get out now, please. And thanks for the visit"
Davis heads back to the elevator. Before getting into it, Davis sees the holo-painting of Marc Campbell.
"You know what else bothers me, Petey?" Davis says turning back to Peter "You inherited your powers from your father, but, as I recall it, right after the big war your father came back to say goodbye, and before leaving he gave you the gift of normality. He took your powers away so you could live a normal life... But now you have them again. How come, McLebovich?"
"I have them. That's all that matters" Peter says "And it's Campbell"
Davis gets into the elevator, and, as the door closes, Peter directs to him one last time.
"Davis"
"Yes, Petey?"
"Don't do anything stupid"
The door closes and the elevator starts moving at almost the speed of light.

Eurodisney Concentration Camp, Paris, Europe.
"You shouldn't keep to coming here, Steve. One day they will discover you."
"I wouldn't bet, Ed"
"Have you talked with Petey?"
"It's just like we suspected".
"That bastard".
"It's plan K, then!"

"Look, I'm not saying that I disagree with what has been written here!" Harrison Owens said defensively. "I'm not a defector! You all know that about me! I'm one of the most loyal employees the MBL has!"
"If that's the case, Mr. Owens," spoke up Mark Branch, the staff writer responsible for the morning edition, "then why call us together? Why make an issue of it at all?"
Owens rolled his blue-green eyes and sunk into his favorite chair. "I don't know..." he said, suddenly looking much older and very tired. "I... I just don't know. I read it this morning and... nothing clicked, y'know?" Owens proceeded to tap his index finger to his temple as he spoke. "Nothing popped. It wasn't the message... it was just... the words..."
"So, you're questioning my credibility as a writer, then, Mr. Owens?" Branch spoke up, now displaying the defensive tone.
"That's not what he's saying at all, Mark," Art Liebeck retorted, taking a sip of his water. "He's merely saying that your caliber of work isn't up to par with what it could be. I'm sure that's all..."
"Is it?" Branch asked, his eyebrow arched as he turned his attenting to Owens. The man looked up, running his fingers through his thick black hair.
"Could be," Owens shrugged, picking up his copy again, reading it slowly to himself. "Yeah," he whispered finally, setting the paper on the table. "Yeah, I liked your piece on the MBL raid of the re-assembled IBG better. More drama."
"Well, it seems we're on a shortage of drama these days," Branch sighed, looking down at his hands, which rested easily on the table before him. "No one wants to resist the MBL these days... too easy to lose."
"Well, you know what they say," Owens said, an unexpected levity lighting his features, "'if it ain't broke, don't fix it.'"
The men at the table began to laugh as they thought of the truth of the statement. They were in a utopia. A perfect civilization. Why would they need to fix the system? The system was, after all, perfection.
"I suppose we're done here?" Liebeck asked, rising from his seat.
Owens shifted a bit uncomfortably as he nodded. "Yeah," he complied, after a short pause. "Yeah, that's it. Thanks, guys."
As the men exited, Harry rolled the chair to his desk, gently tapping his fingers on his desktop. The thoughts running through his head bordered on treason, he knew it. Blasphemy or maybe even heresy.
What if the system isn't perfect?
What if the MBL isn't the way things should be?
What would your father say?
Is this really his MBL?
Owens shook his head, dispelling the evil thoughts from his head. This was not the way it was supposed to be. The MBL was in charge. All was as it should be.
The next thing Owens saw scared him to the core of his being. His attention was turned to his computer monitor as on his normally black screen appeared five ominous words, as if from nowhere: I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING...

“Good job”
“Thank you , Sir.”
“You are dismissed.”
With a nod of the head, Kyle Thomas turned and walked out of the room. At the end of the hall, he walked through a metal detector and took out his two silver-45s, and placed them in their respected holsters. He also took a small strap on pack for the detector box and reattached it around his leg. He waited a moment and another young man walked out of the silver doors, his name, Daniel Walker.
“Hey buddy, how did things go?”
“Not to bad, Kyle, not too bad at all.”
The two men walked down the long hallway that leads to the elevators. Upon entering, they were taken straight to one of the main meeting rooms.
“Any idea what this new top secret case is?” Kyle asked, knowing that he would get his answer in a few minutes anyhow.
“I believe it has to do with the rebellion?”
“No shit?”
Both men shut up as the doors opened. Stepping into a rather large room, they took two open seats.
“Agent Viper and Agent Stone,” The man at the head of the table began “Sorry about the abrupt nature of your current assignment.”
“It’s ok, Sir.”
“Now to business.” The tall man pressed a button which was invisible anyone but him. A holo-image appeared in front of the two agents, it was a diagram of a high tech base. “This gentlemen is where you will be sent. They call it the ‘Concentration Camp.’ Located in Paris, Europe, this is where our informant has designated as the main headquarters of the last of the rebels.”
Pressing another button, the map spun. “You shall enter at underground tunnels on the Northwest side. We will be able to crash their security systems through satellite feed for thirty minutes. This compound is large and was built by some of the same people that have constructed our Headquarters.”
Pressing another button, the image shifted to that of an old man, a scar across his left eye. His hair gray and features worn with time. “This is the one calling himself the Indestructible Man; we believe that he is the leader of the rebel ground. He is a terrorist and should be taken out at first sight.”
The holo image was a bit blurred as the picture captured was not of the best quality and they had to rebuild the image, but to Daniel it seemed very familiar. But he couldn’t put his finger on it.
“Sir, permission to ask a question.”
“Granted.”
“Is this Indestructible Man have any relationship to the legendary Jack Eimann who was with the M.B.L in its infant days?”
The man at the head of the table stopped for a moment, as if remembering a time long past, than snapped out of it.
“No, Agent Viper. This is a terrorist of the worse kind. He is using the name as an insult to the very foundation of what we stand for. He must be taken out.”
Three other figures stepped into the room.
“You two will be joined with Agent Yellow-Bat, Agent Shadow and Agent Doff.” The man paused for a moment, “If you fail or are killed over enemy lines, as always your access and files/histories with the M.B.L. will be deleted for security reasons.”
“Ah, Mad67, just one more thing-“
“Yes, Agent Viper?”
“Should we completely take out the complex or attempt to procure it for our own uses?”
“First priority is to take out the target. If the complex must fall to do that, so be it. If it doesn’t, better yet.”
“Yes, Sir!”

A tall figure walked the halls of the massive M.B.L. World Headquarters. Oh how time changes he thought to himself. He tightened his fists and rubbed his palms. His hands were sore by time, by age. Something he had never thought would be possible, for him at least. Passing by a few Agents, he smiled. A scientist approached him and handed him a few documents.
"Mad67," the scientist said, "What I have in this file will prove our fears are true, that with the rapid spread of new metas, in less than a decade, the population will be more metas than normals, in a 3 to 1 ratio."
"How is project X coming along?" he asked, his tone serious, almost cold.
"We are almost set. Toxin X should be able to block off the Meta Gene, creating a future free of new metas, but as of now it is still to unstable in my opinion." The scientist paused, "This has not been shown in any tests, but I am afraid that changing the human gene and stopping evolution like this could have major side effects on nature and well-"
"Doctor, none of this has been proven by our years of testing. The time is finally right." Mad67 paused for a moment and looked out one of the huge windows of the Complex. "I would not do something to harm the environment. In fact, everything I do, everything I have ever done was for the greater good." Mad67 turned back toward the doctor, "Toxin X will be released into the water stream in 48 hours as planned."
"Yes, Sir."
Mad67 turned and returned to his office, held on the top floor. Upon entering, he knew he wasn't alone. Behind the desk sat a man, his hair gray and features worn with time, a scar stood out over his left eye. He turned to face "Mad67."
"Eimann, we have to talk!"
"Mr. Walker, it's a pleasure to see you again." [ 06-28-2002, 09:12 PM: Message edited by: GoozX ]

Eurodisney.
While he waits for his host to come back, Daniel 'Disco Steve' Davis looks around the complex known as The Concentration Camp. In the past, he had only visited Eurostar's hideaway a couple of times, but he can see that it has been upgraded considerably. The underground levels seem to go on forever. The technology is incredibly advanced, even for this time. It almost looks like the one that can be seen in the MBL World Headquarters, except this is all a lot more messy... being illegal and all. Davis recognizes several trophies and statues from the old MBL HQ... But somehow they seem out of place here. Davis is observing the giant statues of Eurostar and the Indestructible Man that used to be in the entrance of the old HQ, when his host returns.
"It feels like the old days, doesn't it?" Eurostar says.
"Sure" Davis says, not really sure about that. He looks at him and notices how much he has aged... and how little he seems to have changed. His hair is grey, his face looks more tired, his red spandex costume has been replaced with a red robe... but he's still the same man. Davis notices two men accompany Edulcore. One of them looks very young, and the other one looks slightly familiar and has weird green hair.
"This young man is Stroke" says Eurostar, pointing at the younger one, "...our newest addition to this little metahuman rebel force"
"Pleased to meet you" Davis says as they shake hands. He then takes a closer look at the other man, and notices that his thick green hairs are moving... "Snakes...? Oh! Is this...?"
"Yes" Eurostar says, putting his arm around the man "My Snake Headed Son"
"I've heard a lot about you, sir" the Snake Headed Adult says.
"Look at you!" Davis exclaims "You are all grown up! I feel so old... Last time I saw you, you were the size of that gun you are carrying..."
"I get that a lot from dad's friends..." he replies.
"Don't tell me you still call him SHS, Ed..." Davis says turning to Eurostar.
"Actually, no... His name is--"
"Wait, don't tell, don't tell... That'd end the magic" Davis says, smiling. "How is plan K going?" he asks, suddenly changing his tone.
"It has been initiated. Things should progress very quickly once it's started" Eurostar answers.
"Plan K?" Stroke asks.
"You will know everything about it when the time is right" Eurostar answers. "Let's go, Disco. We have to meet I-Man"
"Right behind you, Ed" he says "It's been a pleasure meeting you, guys"
Davis follows Eurostar into an elevator. Eurostar presses the lowest button inside it, marked "I".
"You don't trust Stroke?" Davis asks.
"Yes I do... Why do you ask?"
"Why doesn't he know about plan K?"
"Oh, that's nothing personal... Only a few people know about it. I haven't told my own son"
"Ah. Speaking of plan K... I think I can contact a couple of former members... I don't think they're not too crazy about each other, though..."
The elevator continues to descend at almost the speed of light with the two men inside... and, meanwhile, in another part of the complex...
"...Agent S reporting to MBL..."
"Agent S, we read you"
"You were right. Davis is here"
"Understood. Did you manage to find out anything about plan K, Agent S?"
"No, not yet... But I think I'm pretty close to--"
Suddenly, the door opens, and Stroke walks in.
"Hey, have you seen--" Stroke says "Hey, what's that? A transistor?"
"Stroke" SHS son says, taking a gun and shooting the young rebeld in the forehead. "Sorry, buddy"
"What was that, Agent S?"
"A temporary inconvenience" SHS replies "I took care of it. As I was saying, I think I will be able to get the information about plan K from my father pretty soon..."

“Jack, oh how time has changed.” Patrick Walker, once known as Smasher, gets to his feet. He is eye level with Jack Eimann, the man once known as the Indestructible Man, “Not too long ago, we both fought on the same side. For justice.”
“Patrick, time has changed. The World is a much different place than the one we used to protect.”
“It is not all that different old friend.”
“YES. It is. People had gotten too powerful for there own good, the War proved as much. Upon my return I brought a change. For the better-“
“People are not free. This is not right. It goes against everything this country once was.”
“Was. Past tense. As you said your self, the World has changed.”
“This is wrong, you know that.”
“No, your rebellion is the only thing that is wrong in my World. Peace has finally been achieved, but this is not good enough for you, no, I guess you just loved playing hero too much.”
“Peace at a cost of innocent deaths. At a cost of a society stone cold with fear. Freedom only a myth.”
“Patrick, this was the only way, you out of all people should understand this.”
“You know, Jack, every time we speak you sound more and more like your father.”
“If you are trying to make me loose my cool it isn’t going to work.”
“How about this?” As Patrick finished, his hands lit up in blue energy, “Your human body is not indestructible anymore. You could easily be killed.”
“If you were here to kill me, than you would have come in person. Not his hologram projection. I might not have my old powers, but I can still sense energy patterns, I am no FOOL Walker. You are not capable of getting anywhere near me, you know that as do I.”
Jack returned to his desk, “I tire of this conversation. In a few days, you will see things my way.”
“I’m sorry for what you have become, old friend. This is not the end.”
With those words the holographic image of Patrick Walker disappeared.

MBL Headquarters
A buzz sounded on Harrison Owens' desk, causing the young man to jerk away a little bit. He had been understandably on edge since the computer hacking incident earlier in the day and was obviously not going to calm down anytime soon.
Harry rubbed his hands through his hair as he breathed a heavy sigh and pressed the comm button. Marion's face appeared on the screen, visibly shaken by something.
"What's wrong, Marion?" Harrison asked intuitively.
"Uh... Mr. Harrison, there are some men out here who want to see you," she said, her eyes gazing offscreen to where the men obviously were. "They... they say they want to see you right away."
"Concerning what, Marion?" Harrison asked, taking a sip of his fresh cup of Earl Grey.
Marion's face went pale and her eyes grew wide. "Thought crime..." she barely whispered out.
"Wh-what?" Harry asked, standing up from his chair, dropping his cup of Earl Grey, which shattered as it hit the floor.
"They say you have twenty seconds to open the door or they're coming in after you..." his secretary said, now on the verge of tears.
"...no..." Harry whispered, looking around.
This can't be, the young man thought quickly, frantically searching the room for escape options. I'm the son of the Chewy Walrus! I'm one of the most loyal citizens to the MBL that there is! How can I be guilty of thought crime?
Deep down, he knew he was joking with himself. He knew that they had telepaths constantly scanning the populace. He knew that the message on his computer screen was really the beginning of the end of everything that he knew and loved.
Harrison suddenly thought about his father - the man he'd only heard about, but never met. What would the great Chewy Walrus do in a circumstance like this? Would he run? Turn himself in? Fight to the death against all odds?
He thought about his mother and all that she'd told him of his father. He thought about her stories about Shock-Headed Peter, Chew-Two, Major D'Goon, and Viper. The stories about the nigh destruction of the timeline, the multiverse, and the battles.
His father was not a man to run or to turn himself in unjustly.
He was a man who fought and fought hard against all odds. His father was the Chewy Walrus and Harrison would do his utmost to live up to his father's creed and code.
A heavy boot kicked the walnut doors, sending them flying open as a screaming mob outside fled for the exits. Seven men, all dressed in the gear of MBL soldiers, stepped in, weapons blazing.
Harrison, running on pure adrenaline, kicked over his large desk, using it to cover him for a short while. It was only then that he realized he had no weapons.
Owens was frantically looking around for something, anything, he could use to combat his attackers, when he heard something strange.
A growling.
Barking.
Screams of pain and agony.
Gunshots firing in another direction.
Ripping of flesh from bones.
What's going on? Harrison thought, grabbing ahold of a glass paperweight and, slowly, peeking his head over his toppled desk.
When his eyes scanned the room, he saw before him six MBL field agents lying dead and bloody on the floor and one other soldier standing above them, his rifle slung at his side.
He was dressed like a normal soldier. He wore a thin black bodysuit composed of laser kevlar. He wore a helmet which disguised his eyes and nose, but left his bearded chin and razorblade mouth visible. He had a utility belt with two sashes running in an 'X' pattern across his chest, all of them filled with MBL-issue military gadgets. He wore thick boots on his feet and black leather gloves on his hands.
"Come with me if you want to live," he said in an accent that Harrison had neverheard before. It was odd, like a combination of Russian and French.
Puzzled, Harrison posed a question. "Who are you? What happened to them?"
The soldier pulled his gun. "I didn't save your sorry ass so you could ask questions. Come with me now, or, I promise you, we are both dead!"
Harrison nodded and followed the kevlar-suited man to the door, where the man stopped suddenly. Harrison, who was unprepared for the sudden stop, slammed right into the back of the man, then apologized awkwardly for doing so.
The man took a knife from his belt and rolled up his sleeve. Digging his knife into his flesh, he cut a small rectangle towards the back of his forearm. Peeling the flesh away, he revealed a small long chip with a seven-digit liquid crystal number flashing on it. Pulling it out with his knife, he chuckled dryly as he crushed it with his boot heel.
"That's how I knew it was the end," he said, shaking his head. "Everyone being given a number... like in frickin' Revelations or something..."
The man's slight laughter made Owens feel uneasy, but the younger man just stood his ground, too frightened to say a word.
"You're just lucky you weren't in the military," the soldier said, making himself an arm wrap with some bandages he had in his sash. "Otherwise, I'd have to do this to you as well..."
Finishing his makeshift tourniquet, the soldier stood, unsheathed his gun, aimed it at Harry's head, and smiled, cocking his head to the side as he did so.
"So, you're really the man's son, eh?"
"Th-the... the man?" Harry asked, instinctively raising his hands into the air.
"The Walrus," the soldier clarified. "You're his kid?"
"Th-that's what my... my mom told me... sir," Owens said, adding the 'sir' in as an afterthought.
"Well, I knew your mom too," the soldier said. "Good people. At any rate, you'd better be who you say you are, or I've just risked my life for nothing."
"What are you talking about?" Owens said, exasperated.
"What'd I tell you about asking questions?" the soldier asked, digging the barrel of his gun into Harry's ribs. "Now, march!"
The large man escourted his prisoner, Harrison Owens, downstairs, proclaiming loudly as he went: "ANOTHER ENEMY OF THE MBL HAS BEEN PROCURED! THE MBL WILL NEVER FALL! LONG LIVE THE MBL!"

TWO HOURS LATER - EURODISNEY CONCENTRATION CAMP
"Get off here," the bearded man said, lowering his vessel to the ground.
"What's going on?" Harrison Owens asked. He looked around him at the crumbling plastic castle and the bare shrubs. He knew this place. And he knew what significance it held. "You've taken me to Eurodisney?!"
"Trust me," the soldier said, nodding. "You'll be safe here. You're among friends."
"Really?" Owens asked incredulously. "Like who?"
"Edulcore Cicciotto," the man began to recite. "The former Snake-Headed Son, now called 'Snake' or 'Gorgon' by some. Daniel Davis. Patrick Walker."
"I know those names..." Owens said, cocking his head in thought. "All former MBL-ers?"
"You put the puzzles together about as fast as your old man did..." the bearded soldier said, smiling. "Yeah. This is the home of the last refuge of the MBL..."
"What do you mean?" Owens asked. "The MBL is in Thunder City. Always has been."
"No, I mean the true MBL," the man said, holding up a gloved hand in defense. "This current MBL is about one thing: control. All went to hell after the Great War..."
"I heard about that," Owens spoke up. "The War, I mean. My mom told me about it..."
"Your mom fought in it," the man nodded. "As did I... and half the men you're about to meet..."
"You... you did?" Owens leaned in forward, trying to get a better look at the face of the man behind the helmet. "Who are you?"
The man smiled a lop-sided grin and pulled his helmet off of his head with a belabored tug. The man's eyes were soft, but almost glowed with the brightest blue Harry had ever seen. A full head of dark brown hair covered the man's head. The man barely looked old enough to have fought with his parents, but Harry noted a certain aura of experience about the man...
"The last citizen of Nerveria," the soldier said, bowing slightly. Then, extending his hand, he finally introduced himself to Owens. "Name's Redros. Nice ta meetcha..."
"Redros?!" Owens almost screamed. Redros looked around and pushed his index finger to his lips. Owens nodded, still looking about ready to burst. "You're Fluffy! I mean, the Fluffy!"
"Yeah, I've been called that before..." Redros nodded, rolling his eyes. "However, after the War, it was pretty much always 'Redros' from then on."
"You said you were... the last citizen of Nervosia?" Harry asked, trying to sort out what the man had said.
"Nerveria," Redros corrected in a whisper. "My cousin Llance was the king of Nerveria. He and I served on your father's team - the Orderkeepers - before the war." The bearded man's face grew sad as he trudged up a bad memory. "Llance was killed by a group of Nerverian teroorists that we thought we'd stopped. Before they could kill me, I wiped them out... all of them. Killed them with the blade of a Nerverian assassin..."
"Wow..." Harry gasped, watching the big man before him begin to break down. "I--I'm sorry, Redros. I didn't mean to bring it up... I'm sorry..."
"It's okay," he said, a tear trickling down his face. "It's probably best that I vent like this. It's been so long. Since juat after the War..."
"When everything went to hell?" Owens asked, diverting Redros' attention to an earlier point in the discussion.
"Yeah..." Redros said, reminiscing a bit. "Bibbo was mighty pissed when no one wanted to finish the War they'd started. Eurostar, Gooz... they all turned their backs on him. So, he gathered some more willing helpers, both friend and foe alike. Pulled together a team worthy to help bring down the evils that had started corrupting the world after humanity's demise."
"Friend and foe?" Harrison asked.
"Yeah," Redros answered. "Got an old TOMB baddie named Progress and an MBL villain called Hammer to join the ranks. Neither of them really liked what was going down either and both were more than willing to help... heck, they were even willing to subscribe to his leadership. He also got a small-time cat-burglar who went by the handle of 'Sunbird' to join. She had some amazing gifts.
"The other members," Redros continued, "were all ex-MBL or TOMB. Me, Pat Walker, Bibbsy, of course, and Igor... some lizard kid who claimed to belong to the TOMB of an alternate Hyperboard."
"Was that all?" Harrison asked as Redros took a little pause.
"Nope," the man said with a smile and a wink. "There was also your mom. Vidalia Owens. The Hybrid Onion. She wasn't technically 'MBL', but she was a tremendous asset to the War effort in the Western US. If the MBL hadn't disbanded, she'd have joined eventually..."
"Man..." Harry said, shaking his head, a broad smile on his face. "That's great."
"Yeah, I know," Redros said, smiling in spite of himself. "Hey, lemme show you the Cave. It's where I'll be living now that I kinda quit the force," he indicated his bandaged forearm, "and where you'll be going for routine meetings."
"Hey, Redros," Harry said, causing the older man to turn slightly to look at him. "Is there anyone down there my own age?"
"A few," Redros replied. "Don't worry. You leave the hard stuff to the old farts, and we'll let you know when we need you..." [ 07-08-2002, 01:56 PM: Message edited by: Chewy Walrus ]

Daniel Davis is filled with expectation. He always admired the Indestructible Man. After all, he was just a teenager when they were in the same team... It was natural that a powerfull figure like I-Man became a role model to him. He believed I-Man to be dead for decades, but, when he first contacted Edulcore, he told him that he was leading the whole "Eurodisney" operation along with I-Man.
"This way," Edulcore says, as they step out of the elevator and head towards a hall. Ed points at a door in the end of it. "I-Man will meet us there"
When they reach it, Davis starts wondering how much I-Man has changed... But once he's inside, he finds another familiar face instead of the one he was expecting.
"This is Patrick Walker" Edulcore says, clearing Davis's confusion about the identity of this familiar face, "The Indestructible Man"
"It's good to see you, Disco" Patrick Walker says. "You're probably very confused now..."
"You're right about that. And it's good to see you too, Smasher" Davis says "I was expecting to meet Jack Eimann here..."
"Jack is dead, Disco... It's out of respect for the original I-Man that I use his name now," Walker lies, and thinks to himself "The next time we meet Jack it will be under much different cirscumstances, Disco..."
"Disco says he can bring a couple of former Leaguers to help with Plan K, Patrick" Edulcore says.
"Good. Do you trust them, Disco?" Walker asks.
"Yes" Davis replies. "One little thing: What the hell is Plan K? Ed told me part of it, and I was intrigued..."
"Intrigued enough to go to the nearest teleportation port and come to Paris..." Edulcore adds.
"We will fill you in on everything, Disco..." Walker says, closing the door of his chamber to make sure nobody can hear them...

Edulcore Cicciotto sits at the old meeting table, the oval one from the first headquarter of the MBL, the one in Limbo. The only one of the present, that was a member of the MBL in those fabled days, is, strangely enough, the younger of them. Disco Steve. The third person sitting at the table is the Indestructible Man, Patrick Walker.
“Well, plan K?” asks Walker.
Davis eyes quickly gaze at Eurostar.
Cicciotto smiles. “I’ve located the nearest Dome. It’s positioned in the asteroids belt. Sadly, the stardoor is destroyed. We can’t go there from here. We have to cross space”.
“We have less than 48 hours, Ed. With the MBL having total control of space travel, how could we go up there?”
“I can” says Eurostar, with a serious expression.
“How, old friend?”
“A friend has brought me a gift. See!” Eurostar opens a door near the table. A tabby cat jumps over Cicciotto, and purrs at him. Behind the door, wrapped in the darkness, is a tall exoskeleton, all red with white flaming trunks and a white cross over nose and eyebrows.
“Giovacchino…. And the Kolony? How?”
“Giovacchino has been in space all these years to find the Kolony and bring it back. It has succeed… at the cost of his superlife. He is a normal cat, now”.
At the words, Walker understand what is so strange about the cat. In the old days, the cat talked and had a sarcastic and witty sense of humor. Now… it’s only a normal cat. Another victim of this brave new world.
“Isn’t the Kolony potentially harmful for you, Ed?”
“Yes, it was. It is. How should step back while the others give their lives for the cause? I will go in an hour. And when I will be on the Dome, I will begins the search for… you both know who.” Eurostar looks at the ceiling, at the walls, over the scarce furniture in the room. Who knows who could be hearing their conversation?
“When I will enter the Kolony, my conscience will be gone. I will be focused only on the mission, but when I will have performed the task, it is highly possible that I will fly away back in space. I don’t want that Snakes know this until it happens. And I am counting on you to keep him from try to come to my rescue. You owe me that” whispers Cicciotto.
“We will” says Disco Steve.
Eurostar enter the room with the Colony in it, followed closely by Giovacchino. And closes the door behind him.
Disco Steve looks at Walker, slightly puzzled. He now doesn’t know about Plan K much more than before, maybe he is even more confused. Walker coughs, looks back at Steve and says…

"Don't worry, Disco. The rest will make sense later, I'm sure..."
At that, a door whisks open, revealing a bearded man in the dress of an MBL lieutenant. His gun was drawn, aimed directly at Danny Davis' head.
"FREEZE! MBL!" the man said. Startled, both men at the table jumped up. Davis raised his hands above his head in surrender as Walker merely turned his head and began to chuckle.
Davis looked at the Indestructible Man in confusion. "What's going on here, Patrick?" he asked, his hands trembling slightly.
"Daniel Davis, meet Redros, formerly 'Fluffy' of TOMB..." Walker said, a smirk running across his features. Davis dropped his hands and cocked his head slightly to the right in confusion as the large soldier laughed, removing his helmet and lowering his weapon.
"Nice to finally meet the great Disco Steve," Redros said, extending his arm to the younger man.
"I thought you were a dog," Davis said in momentary confusion.
"Bite me," Redros said in mock frustration.
"Isn't that your job, Fido?" Davis responded with a grin. Redros punched Davis in the arm playfully, then turned to Patrick, who greeted him with a brotherly embrace.
"Long time no see, old timer," the former Smasher said as the two men pulled away.
"Yeah, well, I told you I wouldn't be back until I found him, so..."
"You've done it, then?" Walker asked, getting a bit excited. "Where is he?"
"Upstairs," Redros answered, nodding his head upward.
"Can I meet him?" Walker asked.
"He's looking forward to it, I'm sure..."
Walker smiled and patted his old friend on the back.
"What letter are we up to these days?" Redros asked as Davis began to walk out of the room.
"'K', I believe," Walker said over his shoulder.
Redros chuckled. "Well, at least we're not easily defeated..." he whispered to Davis, who was now walking beside him.
"You can say that again," the former Disco Steve whispered back.
Meanwhile...
The first subbasement of the Eurocave had been converted to member operations and machinery stations, spreading almost the entire width of the camp. A small segment in the middle was designated as the MBL museum, containing bits of paraphernalia from past adventures of both the MBL and TOMB.
Harrison Owens had found himself lost in the small room, eagerly looking over the many trinkets and exhibits on display. The item he found most intruiguing was a disembodied metal hand, which was battered, dented, and a bit rusted. A small plague below read The mechanical hand of Arnold "Bibbo" Bibbowski, who lead both TOMB and the League until his death at the hands of Shock Headed Peter.
However, it wasn't the hand itself that caused Harrison to be so engrossed with it, but rather, the small platinum ring attatched to it. There existed on the ring a small stone, which gleamed magnificently behind the glass.
"It's all pretty impressive, no?" came a voice from behind. Harry whirled around, finding himself face to face with a beautiful young woman. She looked to be in her early twenties with short brown hair and a slight tan to her skin.
"Uh... yeah," Harry said, breaking into a smile. "Yeah, it is..."
"They said that the ring could summon objects from other Hyperboards..." the girl said, walking up alongside Harry, looking in awe at the mechanical hand.
"Really?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow. "I hadn't heard that..."
"Well, it wasn't largely advertised," the girl said, smiling as she pulled a small whisp of hair behind her ear. "But, still, when you talk to people who are largely 'in the know' about these things, like my mom, for one..."
"Your mom?" Harrison asked, turning from the hand to the girl. "Who's your mother?"
"Oh, my name's Ariel Chase," the girl said, extending her hand. "My mom was Joanna Chase, also known as the Sunbird. She was on the League after the War..."
"With my mom!" Harry said, taking her hand in his own. "I'm Harrison Owens... my mom was Vidalia Owens - the Hybrid Onion!"
"Wow!" Ariel said, shaking his hand and smiling widely. "It's so great to meet you!"
"Likewise," Harrison said, smiling.
The click of bootheels approaching quickly caused the two to straighten and once again begin looking at random pieces of antiquity from about the room. Ariel found herself looking at a wedding cake top from an alternate timeline, while Harrison studied something called an "orgazminator".
Harrison turned as three men entered the room. One he recognized immediately, but the other two he'd never seen before. There was a man in a business suit, probably in his mid-thirties and another man with greying hair and a scar on the left side of his face. Familiar as they looked, Harrison had no clue who they were.
"Mr. Owens?" the tall grey-haired man asked, looking down at the smaller, black-haired journalist.
"Yes?" Owens said, raising his eyebrow.
The tall man extended his hand. "My name is Patrick Walker. I worked with your parents. This," Walker indicated the man in the suit, "is Daniel Davis, once known as Disco Steve. We'd like very much to talk to you..."
"Lead the way," Owens shrugged. Walker smiled and turned, walking out of the room. Owens filed in behind Davis and Redros, looking back at Ariel as he left. She smiled and waved as he left, then returned her attention to a plaque which had once been situated on the Mandelovian Palace...

Concentration Camp, Eurodisneyland.
Gorgon, the young man formerly known as the Snake Headed Son, knocks at the door of Eurostar’s room.
“Daddy, we have to talk. Daddy!”
No one answers from inside.
The young man looks around. No one in sight. He lifts his black goggles, and the door instantly turns into limestone. Then, with a powerful kick, Gorgon makes it to crumble.
Inside, there is no one. Gorgon quickly goes to the desk, opening the drawers, flipping trough the papers.
Nothing.
The computer.
Password: MeDuSa.
Mommy, thinks Gorgon.
The disk has been formatted recently.
Shit.
And then, the young man raises his head.
On the ceiling, some words, handwritten in red, bold letters.
TRUST NO 1.
A message.
For him?
Has daddy discovered something about him?
What does it means? And where is Eurostar?
There is no more time. He must know Plan K. If daddy is not around, then it will be Walker to talk.
One way or the other.
He leaves the room, walking fast on the corridor. Soon, five agents join and follow him. They are Agent Yellow-Bat, Agent Stone, Agent Doff, Agent Shadow and Agent Viper.
The MBL.
The MBL Headquarter, Thunder City
Jack Eimann closely watches on his wall-monitor live footages of a unidentified object just discovered by a defence system satellite, flying at high speed past the asteroids belt.
“Unidentified?” smiles Eimann. He has studied that things for months, in the basement of the TIAMAT Institute, before the war.
That red thing is the Kolony. Eurostar has found it. What has in mind? Is he merely escaping to space, like that other time?
No, Cicciotto has grown up since that time. He is up to something.
But whatever is it, sorry, it will fail.
Eimann presses a button on his desk…
City Zoological Park, Bruxelles, E. U.
A middle aged man, wrapped up in a black trench, is one of the few visitors in a rainy day like this. He walks fast and straight across the footpath among the enclosures, until he suddenly stops in front of the Penguins pen.

"You called, sir?" says Peter Campbell, as he approaches Jack 'Mad67' Eimann's desk.
"Yes, Peter" Eimann says. "Take a seat please"
Confused by the unusual good manners of his leader, Peter does as he's told. Usually, Jack Eimann is the only person that dares treating Peter like a normal person and not someone with the almost unlimited power he has. Now Eimann seems awfully nice...
"Peter..." Eimann starts "How long have we known each other?"
"Uh... I don't know..." Peter replies "24 years...?"
"Yes, something around that..." Eimann says. "See, Peter, I need someone for a very special mission... a dangerous mission... and I think that someone is you"
"Well I'm... flattered, sir" the field leader of the MBL says. "What is the mission sir?"
"I'm going to be very direct and just say it. If you think you can't do it, I'll completely undestand, and..."
"What is the mission, sir?" Peter asks once again.
Eimann smiles. "I want you to go space, Peter" he says. "I want you to go to space and follow The Eurostar"

“Euro! Eeeuuurrrooo! Where are you, old buddy?” The voice of Pete McLebovich, son of the cosmic being known as the Moderator, echoes trough the organic shaped corridors of the Klone Dome.
He has just walked out of the MBL Headqarters, and into the Klone Dome. He can do that. He is the single most powerful being in the whole Hyperboards.
Or, at last, that’s what he thinks. That’s what his mentor, Jack Eimann, has kept telling him since his return after the War. Jack Eimann, his teacher at the TIAMAT Institute.
Those days. Watching the other students having fun, playing sports, experiencing their first romances.
Other students… like Lorelei, the cat-girl alien. Pete had a severe crush over her. But she never even noticed him. She had eyes only for the young Eurostar, the time displaced Edulcore Cicciotto from the ‘80s.
What an irony that now the adult… the old… Eurostar is his target.
“Pete, Cicciotto is going to do a serious mess with our works. I am sorry, but he needs to be… terminated” were the words of Eimann. And Pete, although felt a little sorry for Edulcore, knew that his mentor is always right.
After all, after the War, it was him to take Pete under his wings, to teach him how to use his powers, to teach him how to be the powerful being in the whole Hyperboards.
Pete feels Eurostar. Better, he feels the Kolony. The powerful exoskeleton, that in his times as a student, possessed by a tiny little spider, wreaked havoc in the institute.
Now it has returned to his rightful owner.
And it will become a grave for Edulcore Cicciotto.
He’s there. Fingering frantically the keyboard of a strangely organic shaped computer console. Right in front of an even more bizarre circular door, inside a room big as the whole Dome. The core of the Dome, the part that shift constantly throughout all the boards.
Then, the Kolony stops, and turns.
At the small door that connect the chamber with the corridor, stands Pete. His face grimacing.
The Colony smiles.
Strange, thinks Pete, he doesn’t look at all like Edulcore. The face is cold, alien. It seems that the alien mind of the exoskeleton has taken completely control of the metahuman.
“Do what you must, Pete. I have just done my part.”
“So, it end this way? You surrender, without fighting?”
“I wouldn’t stand a chance fighting you, Pete. I came here to call reinforces. So, go on. Make your mentor proud!”
Pete seems perplexed, but it’s just a moment. Then smiles, and the Kolony is disembodied, each of the microscopic beings imploding into nothingness. And the body of Edulcore Cicciotto, now free, falls to the ground, his eyes reversed, his heart still.
Only then Pete aknowledges that there is no breathable atmosphere inside the Dome, and that the temperature is at absolute 0.
Poor Edulcore, thinks Pete. Such a meaningful death.
The young man turns back, ready to walk back in Thunder City.
“SON OF MARK CAMPBELL, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?”
A chill runs downs Pete’s spine. He turns, and in the gigantic room, a body towers over him, tall as the chamber itself. Dark as the void between worlds, colder than absolute 0 itself, heavier than a black hole.
Rob Kamphausen, the Antimoderator, has returned, called on by the Kolony trough the uncanny devices of the Klone Dome
And now he is about to finally get revenge over the son of his nemesis.
As the cosmic being prepares for battle, he frees his amazing uberweapon.
The incredible, fabled, uncanny “Giant Sized Man Thing”.
And Pete Campbell begins to sweat, even if he is at 0 Kelvin.

"Where are they?" Patrick Walker asks.
"In the hangar... They just arrived" Daniel Davis answers.
"How did you get them to get here so fast?"
"I just told them the MBL needed them"
"You still haven't told me what ex-members you contacted to join us..."
"Well, eh..." Davis says, opening the door to the teleportation hangar, "You are about to find out for yourself"
"Bloody hell, Disco!" a Nowhereman in his mid 50's yells as he sees Davis walking into the hangar, "I do you a favour by coming here and you make share a tele-tube with this fucking smack-head!"
"It's Mister Fucking Smack-Head for you, british fucker!" an aged Speedy adds, "And it wasn't a pleasent ride for me either, you know... You still smell like shit! It's the fuckin' 21st century! You'd think the Europeans would start bathing!"
"It's nice to see you guys too," Davis says. "This is Patrick Walker--"
"The fucking Smasher!" Nowhereman says, roughly shaking Walker's hand.
"Actually, I call myself Indestructible Man now..."
"Sound familiar..." Speedy says "Didn't we use to have a kid called like that at the old League?"
"Uh... Yes, I think..." Walker says. "Disco, can I talk to you for a moment?"
"Sure..." Davis says as they leave Speedy and Nowhereman to their arguments.
"To be honest, those two aren't presicely what I had in mind to help us, Disco..."
"We need people we can trust, Patrick," Davis says, "I've known those men all my life. I trust them. Besides, they are as good in a fight as they were back in the day... maybe better"
"Well, if you--" Walker says, being interrupted by an alarm.
"What's that?!" Davis asks.
"The alarm! We are under attack!" Walker yells.
"Well it was about time!" Nowhereman exclaims, opening the door violently, "I've been dying for a fight since breakfast!"
Another Part of Eurodisney
"Crap, the alarms are off!" Gorgon Cicciotto, a. k. a. Agent S, says.
"We'll just have to go out in the open..." Agent Stone says.
"OK..." Agent Viper say, "Stone, Doff and Yellow-Bat go to the lower levels... That's where "I-Man"'s chamber is. They have high security, so Doff's morphing abilities will come in handy... S, Shadow and I will stay here and watch your backs... We'll try to mislead the rebels so you can take care of I-Man without any problems. Understood?"
"Understood" Agent Stone says. And with that, the two teams split...

The Klone Dome
Peter Campbell is shocked. He clearly wasn't expecting to see him.
Kamphausen walks around Peter in circles, holding his Giant Sized Man Thing in his hands and watching his enemy.
"THERE'S SOMETHING AWFULLY WEIRD ABOUT YOU..." the Anti-Moderator says, "BUT YOU ARE THE SON OF MARC CAMPBELL ALLRIGHT... I CAN FEEL HIS BLOOD RUNNING THROUGH YOUR VEINS"
This is the only being capable of oposing Peter's inherited powers, and they both know it.
"What do you want here?!" Peter asks, looking up to Kamphausen.
"I AM HERE TO TAKE MY REVENGE. I WILL FIND THE MBL AND DESTROY IT..."
So that's why Eurostar brought him... Peter thinks.
"...BUT FIRST, I WILL SPILL MARC CAMPBELL'S BLOOD..." Kamphausen says, with a smile, "YOUR BLOOD..."
Eurodisney
"This way!" Patrick Walker yells, as he, Speedy, Nowhereman and Disco Steve run on the halls of the underground complex.
"Where the hell are we going? Shouldn't we be kicking some arse?!" Nowhereman asks.
"Why don't you take us where the action is, Smasher?" Speedy says.
"We're going there, Speedy, but first, we're picking up some ammo at the gun room... that should be...", Walker says, looking at the doors on the hall and finally pointing at one, "There!"
The four men run to the door. Davis walks into the room right behind Speedy... but then something odd happens.
Daniel Davis finds himself in complete darkness.
"What the hell... Where are we? Patrick? Guys?" Davis asks, getting no answer.
Suddenly, the room is filled with a red light. Davis looks around. He sure as hell isn't in Eurodisney anymore.
Davis notices he's holding something in his hands...
"My old beating stick...?"
He looks at his hands and notices he has white gloves on... He then looks at his body and notices he's wearing his Disco Steve costume. "Something's deeply wrong here..."
He looks around some and starts recognizing the place...
"The cheesy Disco room," Disco says, not believing his own words. "I never thought I would see this place again..."
"I bet you thought you would never see me again, pal..." a disturingly familiar voice says.
Disco turns around and sees...
MPM: Well, guess what, pal... You ain't that lucky.
DS: Midget Pizza Man?!
MPM: The one and only. You know, you coulda given this revelation any form you wanted... and you had to choose me.
DS: Revelation...? Form...? I'm not following you, MPM.
MPM: Geez! You're still a little slow, aren'tcha? I'm not real. I'm a piece of information, pal. Someone up there wants to send a message to you, so they put it in a form you can decode... And you decode it any way you want. Get it?
DS: So... You're saying someone sent me a message and I interpreted it as you telling me something in the Cheesy Disco Room?
MPM: EXACTLY! What's so hard about that? Geez...
DS: And why would I choose you?
MPM: Eh, that's your bussines, pal. Maybe you still got some remorse for eatin' me and then--
DS: Hey, hey. Lets just leave it like that.
MPM: Well, I didn't like bein' "Midget Hanky Man", y'know...
DS: I'm sorry about that... Anyway, what was the message you are suppoused to give me?
MPM: Oh, yeah. That. It's something like this: It's all coming to an end.
DS: What is coming to an end?
MPM: The freakin' Super Bowl.
DS: Huh?
MPM: HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW?! Geez, I swear, sometimes you...
DS: OK, OK... Continue.
MPM: Another character in this Soap Opera is not what he seems.
DS: Hmmmm... What else?
MPM: That's all I got. Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go pick up the children in... Jesus Christ, I'm fuckin' late... My wife's gonna kill me...
DS: All right, see you later then... Thanks for the info.
MPM: Yeah, whatever...
As MPM leaves the red light starts slowly fading away, leaving the room dark once again...
"Disco! C'mon! Move!" Nowhereman yells from behind "You're blocking the entrance! I wanna get some bloody guns, man!"
"Uh... Yeah, sorry..." Daniel Davis says, moving into the gun room, and wondering what just happened.
Speedy and Nowhereman grab as much weapons as they can.
"Pick something, Disco" Patrick Walker says.
Davis looks at his hands and sees he's still holding his old beating stick from the dream.
"I've got all the guns I need here, Patrick..." Davis says. [ 07-18-2002, 12:46 AM: Message edited by: I'm Not Mister Mxypltk ]

City Zoological Park, Bruxelles, E. U.
A middle aged man, about sixty years old (or at last that’s how he is looking), with a big white beard, sits on a bench, near the penguins pool.
There are many children around him, some sitting on the bench, others standing in front of him, laughing and smiling.
Because he is a ventriloquist.
Surely, what he is saying, and what he is making the puppet sitting on his legs to say, it’s not funny. Well, it’s plainly incomprehensible. But he is so good at making voices that the kids are enthusiastic nevertheless.
The man actually is making three different voices: his own, the puppet’s, and a third one, coming from a cat sitting near the man. “So, how’s going?” says the old man.
“As planned. In part” responds the cat.
“You mean?” asks the puppet.
“Eh. Plan K is going on smoothly, for now. Micromino has sacrificed himself/themselves to bring back the Kamphausen from his exile. Now he is fighting Pete Campbell. There are three possible outcome. Excuse me, three foreseeable outcomes. Always expect the unexpected…”
“Go on” presses the old man.
“First, Pete destroys the Kamphausen. If he succeeded, Pete should be so underpowered from the battle that shouldn’t be able to come back on Earth. Second, Kamphausen destroys Pete, and that should be the same. Kamphausen remains prisoner on the Dome, that the Kolony has reprogrammed to shift only to other Hyperboards, never returning to our own. Third, they fight for eternity, never coming back. In all three cases, we have get rid of Pete, eliminating the only true wild card in Eimann’s hands. Without Pete, the war is fair, metas versus metas, without a cosmic being to unbalance the battle.”
“That’s the good news, I presume. The bad?”
“The bad is that Eimann has finally attacked the Camp. Agent Stone, Agent Doff and Agent Yellow Bat are trying to kidnap Walker. With him are DiscoSteve, Nowhereman and Speedy…
“Oh Gob!”
“…while on the upper level Agent Shadow, Agent Viper and Gorgon are currently misleading the other rebels, Chase, Redros and new recruit Owens, preventing them to help Walker. Plus, on the surface Agent 57 is arriving at the Camp, with the old sir Justin.”
“Gorgon? You mean he is with Eimann?”
“Sadly, yes. It seems that, after all, he is like his mother”.
“I never liked him.
“But how can you know what’s happening now?”
“I have access to the phantom board, now. From there, I can look back here, everywhere… Kontinuity’s dome is still functioning, you know…
“I’ve been there two times. The second one very briefly…”
“So, what we do, now?
“I believe it’s time to rescue the rebels and reorganize them, in a place that is really secret. In the process, we destroy the Concentration Camp, with the six MBL agents inside.”
“Even Gorgon?”
“Even him.”
“And how we rescue them?”
“Through a portal”
“To not be detected, that should be a metahuman generated portal, not teleportation, or Eimann will find us. And there were only two people able to make portals, Gooz and Mxy, and they both disappeared after the War.”
“That’s not completely true.
“Are there still someone able to make portals?”
The voice of the cat is now a whisper: “Nobody else is able.”
And the puppet smiles. [ 07-18-2002, 01:11 PM: Message edited by: The Eurostar ]

MBL Eurodisney Concentration Camp
"Hey!"
Harrison Owens had never been in a fight in his life. Granted, he'd always wanted to be in one. Heck, he had wanted to be on the MBL field team... and they were always fighting, it seemed!
Still, something about this fight was just weird...
He sat alone in the meeting room where he, Walker, Davis, and Redros had been talking. The three men needed to step out for a time, leaving Owens some time to glance at his surroundings and think about what had just happened.
He wasn't too far into his thoughts when warning claxons had begun to sound and all the computers in the room shut down.
Protocol, Owens thought wryly, crawling under the table. In case the enemy wants to hack into their system... dump the hard drive and shut off the power. Ironically, same as the MBL's protocol...
At that thought, the door was kicked in and a shout was made into the room by an MBL soldier.
"OWENS!" it called. "LETS MOVE!"
The voice was Redros'. Coming out from under the table, Owens saw Ariel standing behind Redros, an urgent look on her face.
"We're under attack!" the former TOMB member said, motioning for Owens to follow him. Tearing down the hallway, Owens looked over at Ariel, who looked as determined as he'd ever seen her.
"There's something different about you," Owens whispered. The girl looked over at him, arched her eyebrow and smiled, then refocused on what she was doing.
But, Owens was serious. There was something about this girl that was different from the last time he'd seen her. He couldn't exactly tell what it was. Rage? Fury? Sheer determination?
As she started to pass him, he got his answer: two giant wings had unfolded out of her shoulder blades. Owens didn't know what to say...
"You can fly?" he asked, dumbfounded.
She smiled as she looked back at him. "Just try to keep up, will you?"
After running down the length of the hallway, Redros ducked inside of a small closet and pulled the other two inside. "Alright," he panted once the door had been shut, "Owens, get us out of here..."
Owens' eyes bulged as he heard his name. "What?" he asked, surprised. "How?"
"That ring," Ariel said, pointing to the platinum band on the ring finger of his right hand.
"This?" Owens asked. "My dad left this to me... it's not mystical or anything. I mean, it's just a ring..."
"Not when I saw it work," Redros said, pulling the ring off the young man's finger and sliding it onto his own. Redros aimed the ring at the back wall of the closet. To his amazement, seconds later, a giant portal appeared seconds later.
"Alright," the gruff Redros barked out. "Everyone inside..."
Ariel jumped in first, followed by an uneasy Owens. Redros followed suit, closing the portal behind him.
"What was that?!" Owens asked, standing and wiping the grass and dirt from his jeans.
"Phantom Board Access Ring," Redros answered, tossing the ring back to Owens, who caught it one-handed. "Given to your dad by the former ruler of the Phantom Boards - Boss Tweed."
"Tweed..." Owens thought. "Yeah, Mom told me about him."
"His brother rules here now, along with a few other people who might help us out," Redros said, standing. Before him lay a huge expanse of forest. In the exact center of the forest, raised high on a hill above the entire area, sat an exquisite-looking palace. Redros pointed to the giant building. "That way," he said. "Just stay close... the forset can be treacherous..."

Jess Plant, the former Sir Justin Plantagenet of Camelot, felt sick to his stomach. It was several hours since Agent57 had detailed the insidiousness of the current MBL, but the shock of it all had yet to fully sink in. Meanwhile, the thought that it might possibly be true was making him feel nauseous. He recalled with perfect clarity the conversation Agent57 had with him: quote: Several hours ago...
"I've become aware of all that you know about the MBL and more. I know who runs the damn thing..." Agent57 had said to him after he landed the hovercab in a secluded area in one of the fields of England.
Jess waved his arm as if waving away anything he was saying. "Yes, Peter Campbell, but--"
"No, you know what I mean. Campbell's only the figurehead. I know who the true power behind the current MBL is."
"Then tell me," Jess said, unimpressed.
"Not so fast, sir knight. First, let me tell you a little story..."
"I'm listening..."
"Once upon a time, the world knew freedom. The Message Board League, the MBL of Europe, and other groups before it, such as the Message Board Society and the All-Ass Squadron, protected the citizens of Earth from many threats."
"I am very aware of this. My father was the Green Knight."
"Then you should all the more appreciate what I have to say. Please, be quiet until I'm finished. As I was saying, the world knew freedom, or at least much of the world did. But there were those who saw the MBL and its like as a threat to their own plans. To them, a free world had no value in and of itself, and the more freedom people had, the less these people were able to profit and take power for themselves."
"Yes, but all the corrupt governments of the world are no longer in power anywhere, thanks to the MBL."
"Who's talking about governments here? I'm talking about big corporations. They're the ones who held the REAL power in the latter half of the 20th century, and they are the ONLY power of the 21st century, now that government depends so much on them. And you're interrupting me again. Let me continue...
"When the MBL was formed, the plans of several corporations were threatened, and they knew it. They therefore responded in a fashion intended to test the MBL's power. Many of the most powerful heads of the biggest corporations had formed a 'secret society' of sorts years earlier, one which formed a plan for complete and total economic domination of the world by the year 2025. Political domination would not be necessary, since they could always shape politics through the wielding of their collective economic power. Many of these corporations and banks were far richer than the countries of the world! And indeed, the countries of the world owed their debts to the world banks, which was also a part of this secret society.
"Well, shortly after the formation of the third version of the MBL, led by Rypta Gud'n, of which I was a member as Agent57, this secret society used one of their branches, which was composed of the heads of three different corporations, and which was called the TriVex Group, to attack this MBL directly. These three businessmen were General Gerald Forrest, Eric Peters of Redshack Chemicals, and Stephen Magnus. Yes, the same Stephen Magnus of MagnusCorp. The TriVex Group attacked the MBL with the brute force of their technology and then clumsily attempted to disband the team by buying the headquarters the MBL was occupying at the time in Thunder City. Peters and Magnus soon realized that General Forrest, the one behind this idea in the first place, was completely power-mad, and they cut their losses. The TriVex Group became TriVex Corp, and Forrest was left to battle the MBL himself. He later attained the power of the Dragin Stone and became almost godlike in his power, but, as predicted, he bit off more than he could chew and died upon the conclusion of his battle with the MBL. TriVex was no more.
"Magnus was the next to battle the MBL more or less directly, though he was little more successful than Forrest had been. Peters took a more subtle approach and financed a relative of his, named Shock-Headed Peter, to battle the MBL, even going so far as to create a new 'super-hero' named Johnny Monolith, cloned from SHP himself, to join the MBL. But those plans came to nothing. The MBL was too powerful, and we always stopped the villains in whatever form they took before it was too late. The world continued to live in freedom, though most people never knew how close the world had come to being dominated by any number of threats.
"Things would change. As time went on, I became less and less involved with the MBL, so my information is second- and third-hand from this point on. After a stint in M.A.N., I successfully faked my death -- don't ask me how -- and I left my whole life, and even my wife and children, behind in order to go completely underground. By that time I had heard whispers and rumours of insidious threats far worse than alien invasions and super-villain attacks, and I could not trust that the MBL, TOMB, or any number of super-hero teams would be able to combat these threats. Thus I founded a more-secret-than-top-secret organization with a few handpicked agents, and we began planning. We also made sure to keep our existence a complete secret, even from our own allies, in case of security breaches.
"Unfortunately for us, the powers behind the TriVex Group had been planning as well. They realized that the MBL was too powerful, and that it could not be defeated by conventional means. Their clumsy attempts at infiltration had not worked, either. They needed to do something drastic..."

"The intrusion was in level H," I-man Patrick Walker says, leading other three ex-MBL members as they run on the corridors of the lowest levels.
"Then why the fuck don't we go there!" Speedy yells.
"Uh," Disco Steve says, "I believe that is where I-Man is taking us, Speedy..."
"Yes, Speedy, what the fuck are you thinking?" Nowhereman mocks, "Hey, Smasher... Can't we take an elevator? We're not bloody youngsters anymore, y'know..."
"That's exaclty what I was planning to do, Nowhereman," Walker says, "It would take us years to get from here to the upper levels by the stairs... literally"
Smasher stops next to a door. He presses a button, and the door starts opening... as a big explosion comes from the other side.
"Patrick!" Disco yells.
"I'm OK!" Walker says, covering himself against the fire and flying pieces of metal.
"What the fuck happ--" Speedy starts saying, being interrupted by another explosion.
"Shhhhit!" Nowhereman exclaims, starting to run to the opposite side of the explosion "Move your arses, boys!"
As they run, another explosion in the direction they are heading surprises them.
"Who's doing this?!" Disco asks.
"Bloody cowards!" Nowhereman yells, "Show yourselves!"
Suddenly, a portal appears in front of them. The head of a puppet comes from inside it.
"Come in!" the puppet says.
Surrounded by explosions, the men are left with no other option than trusting the familiar looking puppet-man.
Before following his friends into the portal, Walker looks to his left, where the smoke of the first explosion is clearing, and sees a man standing.
"There he is!" Daniel Walker, a.k.a. Agent Stone says, "The Indestructible Man! Our target!"
"They're here for you, Patrick!" Disco says from inside the portal, "Quick, come inside!"
Walker doesn't move.
"Are you coming?!" Disco asks.
"I..." Patrick Walker says, looking at the face of the MBL agent in front of him...

For the first time in as long as he could remember, Patrick Walker was speechless. Smoke rose from the steel platform he stood on. Flashes of light blinded the background.
Feet away Daniel Davis reached out for his friend. His hand clutched Patrick’s arm. “Come on buddy!” he said a split second before Patrick grabbed his arm and pushed him through the portal, "I'm gonna bring the war to them" were Patrick's last words to his friend. Daniel’s eyes widened as the portal closed behind him, leaving Patrick against the three MBL agents.
Patrick was silent, as Daniel stood in front of two other agents, his weapon drawn.
“Daniel.” Patrick’s voice was calm and serious.
“You know this guy?” Agent Doff whispered toward Daniel Walker, Agent Stone.
“Indestructible Man.” Daniel’s voice paused, finally beginning to relize who the man in front of him was. He brushed it off, “Our target.”
Yellow-Bat kept his weapon drawn, “By order of the MBL you are under arrest. From this point forward you have no rights.”
Yellow-Bat approached Patrick who stood in his place.
Patrick stared at Daniel.
“I’m sorry-“ he began, Daniel’s eyes locked in his. “I didn’t want to leave you.”
Agent Doff turned towards Daniel looking for his reaction and an explanation; instead he received a blow to the head from the back of Daniel’s gun. Yellow-Bat turned to react, Patrick’s hands lit up in blue energy and Yellow-Bat shoot across the room, striking hard into the steel walls.
“Father.” Daniel began, keeping his distance.
“Yes.” Patrick responded. Unsure of his next move.
“You lead the rebels?”
“I do.”
Daniel paused for a moment, taking everything in. It would only be a few moments until the other three Agents would arrive and find them.
“Daniel.”
“Yes?”
“I’m sorry.”
Before Daniel could respond, he was thrown into the far wall, and knocked out cold. Patrick opened a small panel on the wall and hit a button, which sent an alarm off throughout the upper levels of the HQ.

"Where the fuck are we?" Speedy asked, looking around the dark room he had just been teleported into.
"Yeah, and who the hell are you?" Nowhereman asked, looking at the puppet-man in front of them.
"Nobody Else," Disco Steve answered. "I remember you from the big war... You appeared at the end of it, didn't you?"
"I became what I am during the course of the war," Nobody Else replied.
"Yeah, at the cost of Mxy's life..." Nowhereman said. "I remember you now..."
"That was you?!" Disco asked.
"Mister Mxypltk was one of the heroes that sacrified themselves to tranform me," Nobody Else explained, "He did it under his own will. In fact, it was his idea"
"That's what you say!" Nowhere yelled to Nobody.
Disco Steve, usually the voice of reason that calmed Nowhereman in this situation, remained silent this time. He had his own doubts.
"We never got to hear his side of the story!" Nowhereman continued. "For all we know you could have killed him and--"
"Excuse me, can I say something?" Speedy interrupted, "WHERE THE FUCK ARE WE?"
"Oh, I'm sorry..." Nobody Else said, pushing a door open, and walking the three men outside. They noticed they were in some kind of castle. They could see the vast trees and vegetation outside through the large castle windows. "Welcome to the Phantom Board" Eurodisney As Patrick Walker stood near the uncouncious body of his son, the two other bodies in the room started slowly moving.
Agent Yellow-Bat raised his head and looked at Agent Doff.
"...plan b..." Yellow-Bat whispered.
Doff nodded. He morphed into a mass of slime and quickly dissapeared into the complex.
Yellow-Bat then pressed a button on the mechanism around his wrist. In other part of the complex, Agent S (a.k.a. Gorgon Cicciotto, Snake), Agent Shadow and Agent Viper where fighting the rebeld forces. They noticed a red light blinking on their wrists, that indicated the other part of the team had failed.
"It's plan B, then..." Viper said, "Destroy the complex" Klone Dome The epic battle between Rob Kapmhausen, the Anti-Moderator, and Peter Campbell, the Son of the Moderator had lasted for several moments now (time can only be measured in moments on a place like this).
Kamphausen, visible bigger, smashes Campbell around. Although they are suppoused to be equals, all Campbell does is try to dodge what Kamphausen sends him, as he yells insults in caps and bold letters.
Taking advantage of a moment of distraction, Kamphausen catches Campbell like a bug. He sends him against a wall and watches as his uncouncious body falls to the ground.
Kamphausen prepares to squash his enemy with his foot, when suddenly Campbell opens his eyes.
"STILL ALIVE, BUG?" Kamphausen yells, "NOT FOR LONG..."
Campbell looks at Kamphausen and smiles.
"Silly little character," Campbell says.
The look of confusion on Kamphausen's face only lasts a few seconds, before he suddenly dissapears, leaving nothing but a small void behind.
Campbell stands up, wipes the dust off his MBL uniform, and flies off to space, heading for Earth...

Outside the Klone Dome…
Pete Campbell remain surprised by the change in environment. The endless space is limited, and white, dotted by tiny ink black stars.
The Klone Dome, during the battle, had shifted to the inside of a Black Hole. The cosmic being begins to feel the antimatter eating away the matter of his body. Cosmic matter, but still matter.
How will he escape the trap?
The Phantom Board
Suddenly, Nobody Else and the other three rebels, Disco Steve, Nowhereman and Speedy, hear the noise of steps over the stair outside the room they are in.
They prepare for fighting the possible menace… when Redros, Ariel and Owens step in!.
Eurodisney, under the Beautiful Dreamer Castle
Agent Yellow Bat prepares to teletransport back to MBL Headquarter with Walker, the head of the rebels, when he hears a feeble laugh from the former Smasher.
“What do you have to laugh, old man?”
Walker pants, and then whispers: “You think YOU are going to destroy the complex?”. And then, presses a button in a little device in his hand.
Eurodisney, outside the castle
The taxicab has just landed outside the boundaries of the Concentration Camp, when the Castle of the Beautiful Dreamer explodes, leaving a giant mushroom cloud. Sir Justin jaws drops, while Agent 57 hisses an audible “Fuck!”.
City Zoological Park, Bruxelles, E. U.
The little ventriloquist show continues. The cat says: “Captain, it’s time to move”. The bearded man, who now is without his puppet, just coughs, stands up, and taking the cat, walks away from the Penguin pen.

Outside the Klone Dome...
Pete Campbell looks at the black hole. He smiles.
"You don't get it, do you?" he says. There's no one around to hear him, not to mention the fact that there's no sound in space. All this doesn't seem to matter to him. "You think that I'm like all the others..." he continues. He moves his right hand, and the black hole dissapears. He resumes his flight towards earth.
"I'm more than anything you have ever faced."
