I usually found Ritter entertaining and am certainly saddened at his loss. I was far more upset by it than by Cash's as Cash was a sick old man whose death was more or less expected. For Johnny, death is probably a relief.
But with Ritter's latest show, I, as a parent, found it very annoying. For starters, he was a U. of Michigan fan, which never goes far in this Buckeyes fan's house. But more to the point, I found it really sending a bad message to see Ritter's character trying to suck up so much to his clearly annoying children.
