Another new talk thread. I predict we'll go through this one and at least one more before the current story ends... ![[no no no]](graemlins/nono.gif)

What does MBL stand for? Hell if I know. I'm pretty sure it doesn't stand for "Major Baseball League", "Maniacal Booby Lovers", "Mad Bum Losers", "Muddy Boot Lickers", or "Man-Boy Love".

MBL, as I recall, was merely taking the consonants out of the word "Mibela," which is the city in which MBL Consulting was set up.
As for me, I posted another Omicron post with the members after their get-away from the Uffizi. Not much in the way of characterization so much as story progression, but that was really all I had time for right now. Sorry. I'll try to do another Grissom post sometime in the very near future...

Geez, I wasn't expecting them to be done at the museum so quickly. Hopefully Drake and Ameristar will be at the tower soon...

The museum thing wasn't the main mission, Drax. It was just a pre-mission fact-finding trip before the real mission begins. That's when the story will really begin to get good...

OK, as long as Drake and Drax will get to be around for all the good stuff. I swear I will eventually post something that doesn't consist entirely of goofy lines and self-serving character development.

Great work everybody!
TTT, I love how Kristogar deny the possibility of a parallel universe. I love it.
everybody, I have completely rewritten my escape post to make it more dramatic. It seems I am not able to write NOT from first person perspective...

I think it's time to make the three group. And also for Chewy to create the third location.
Ameristar and Drax will get to my place on the Andes from the tower of Cuccubao, if it's ok fro them.

Excellent revision, Eurostar! You improved that one a lot. Everyone's posts have been wonderful lately. I think three teams should wait until the next day to leave (especially since it seems to be approaching nighttime by now in the story). Due to my Kit Piper kidnapping plot, it's important that 24 hours are allowed to pass so the next "phase" of the plot can ensue. I'm sure the five guys will want to get some sleep, anyways... Thus, I have begun the second part of the mission. IIRC, the two teams set so far are:
Location 1: Euro Chance Drax Ameristar
and Location 2: Grimm Dirk Tayden Priest.
This leaves by default for Location 3: Danny Mxy Velo TC.
Staying on the island: Phil, Montag, Wulf.

Chewy, let me know if you have any problems with my handling of the Omicron guys.
Everyone else... apparently I've started writing posts that take up six pages in Microsoft Word... my god, I'm a loser. I really need something better to do with my time.

Don´t do anything about the Antarctic yet, that would disrupt the ongoing story and I´m ever so slowly building up the threat of Naecken.

I've been a little slower than usual to post. I'm just sitting back and enjoying the story so far, so don't worry. [ 02-03-2003, 03:26 PM: Message edited by: Captain Sammitch ]

The next post with that subplot will be when 24 hours have passed after his talk with Gambini's thug, which is sometime in the early afternoon. I'll wait until it's no longer morning in the story to post that. But I agree -- the story's unfolding very nicely...

Just put something in that I'd been wanting to do for a while. TTT kinda threw me for a loop with the whole Kit subplot coming out, but I figured I'd take the old school way around it and use a flashback to explain it.
Just to keep you guys caugth up, this isn't the group of guys that Wulf referred to despite what Kit thinks. I'm putting these guys in play mostly as comic relief and an oddball backdrop to the rest of the team. They're more like the F-Troop of superheroes.
