I don't think there's anything like a "permanent chatroom," but you can always use the same name more than once.

How about simply "mblchat"? Once you've been invited to "mblchat," or invited yourself to it, you can click under "File" and select "Create Shortcut," which will put a shortcut onto your desktop so you can enter it whenever you've got AIM turned on.

I created a chatroom called "bluenaecken Chat995", see if you can somehow search for it or just add my username to your lists.

Naecken -- when you create a chatroom with AIM, you can change the name of it to whatever you want. The default name of the chatroom you create will be your username and the word "Chat" followed by a string of numbers. But you can change this to "mblchat" instead. That way we should all be able to remember what the chat is called.

Is anybody gonna post on the "Royal Society of Rogues" thread?
JD said that he got the impression that we were gonna do the story instead of a regular issue... if you guys want to leave the story for later on, I got no problem with "pausing" it until then, if it means that we can do it properly.

If you want that the story is actually done by most of the posters, Mxy, you have to put it as a "regular issue". Any "collective" project that was not a regular MBL story, wheter in the old universe or the new, has failed miserably.

But if there are people that don't like the idea, I can understand it, and I'd hate to make them feel forced to post in the story, or to leave them without a story to post in for as long as the thread goes on. That's why I suggested this story as something to do on the side, and why I want it to be shorter than a normal "issue".

Well, I would be pleased to do it in both forms.

In any case, if we go for the regular issue, we can show the MBL in the present days, and at the same time the Royal Society in the past, and maybe find a way to relate the two stories.

That would be a bit difficult to do. I think it's best if we keep the two teams separated. Forcing parallelisms into the stories would be limiting ourselves.

I had no problem to do a separate story, as I said before.

But I was not intending parallelism, just tow stories going at the same time (just like now we have three), only with some elements, maybe just one, that in the end connect, in some way the two. It could just be a revelation, a discovery, a little detail.

To be honest I'd like to keep the RSR as separate from the MBL as possible. The only lthing in common between the two is that they are both agrupations of freaks. Also, I just realized that if postponed the story to do it as a regular issue, we'd have to wait too much, since issues #12 and #13 are alredy reserved, and with the time it takes us to complete a story nowadays, that's at least three months... By then, I don't think I'll be as inspired with this idea as I am now, not if the story is "paused" and nothing happens on it.

So, what I suggest is that we keep it as a separate issue, be patient with those who don't have time to post regurlarly in two stories, and work with what we have.

If we don't get enough people to form a group (six members at least), those of us with more time to post could have more than one member... (I'm about to introduce my second member anyway).

As will I. I've a character I wanna intro, but I'm not sure when or if I'll have time to write it at this point. Be patient. He may join up once the mission has already begun...

That's gotta make you feel... what, Gooz? Old? Young? Indifferent?

So, how old are ya now, Pro? You up there with Euro and T5 in the age ranking yet, or are you still 'young at heart'? (I would've asked if you were as old or near the age of Llance, but... heck, even I'm not that cruel!)
