What's going on? What are the crisis that the team is being hired to deal with? Are they somehow related to each other? Is it individual threats? What IS the story(s) about?
13.
Timing problematic.
Still good idea.
I am cryptic.
Goodbye for now.
Wait wait wait.
Chicago is not among the cities Pro mentioned. Chewy said me something about issue 13 that needs the team to be in Chicago. It0's not possible that it will be delayed another time!

Don't worry dude. 13 is reserved. But I'm sure we'll be doing Pro's idea or something like it in 12. At the time I was worried that it might disrupt the setup for 13, but everything oughta work out okay.

Just as a matter of statement, I want everyone to know that I don't consider 12 my story. I had originally intended to manipulate events within the mini-stories to tell a story that I wanted. But, I just don't think I would have time right now to fully commit to what I want to tell. My set-up is really the only thing that I intend for the story. Everything after that is up to you guys. I just didn't want anyone confusing this promotion of a set-up as one of my subtle ways of guiding you into one of my concept-stories. But, hey, who knows? Given the time, I might play around a bit, depending on what you do. Also, as a matter of statement, the Doc is my new bitch. Okay. Thank you. Now, back to the confusion.....

Pro, I was told I had inherited the mantle of excessive godlike advance planning from you, but since you're back I figure we should at least share it. ![[nyah hah]](images/icons/tongue.gif)

Well, that works out fine, as I hold the mantle of excessive off-the-cuff, coincidental, pray-to-god-I-can-pull-this-off planning.... :)

Er, hi. I've decided to go by NotWedge here since it's the name I use pretty much everywhere else online. So the character is still Drax, but the player is going by the name NotWedge. OK? OK!

Actually, no.
In fact, for all I know YOU could be Wedge cleverly disguised as a Chewy Walrus. ![[whaaaa!]](eek01.gif)

E, don´t you have any ideas for Raptor and Ameristar: RESIDENCE EVIL? Or do you lack the time?

Just wrote the first post with the MBL and Project Omiclone -- er, I mean, Omi cron... ![[wink]](images/icons/wink.gif) -- which was sort of a confrontation but not the kind that would have completely defeated the purpose of the group's going to the museum. I think the real "fight scenes" between the members of this group should take place sometime later on, like at those three locations the group will be sent to later. I also made sure that neither of the teams called their teammates by name within earshot of the others, since that would be a very stupid thing to do. With what went up with my father, and then first my kid, then I got a bad flu, I didn't have the time and/or the will to continue it. Now that the fever has ended, and I am in a better shape, I will post there very soon, this evening, I hope.

Thanks. I was trying to make sure I kept each character's personality reasonably accurate while providing a temporary solution to the dilemma each group found itself in. Hope I managed the characterization well...

TTT: Very nice standoff, and I like the handling of other plot threads in the Kit subplot (espc. the Griffin reference).
Interesting developments, everyone. I'm enjoying the story so far. However, I have to ask here, (I have already spoken with Chewy about this) that no one send any Project Omicron members to my location. This is not in an attempt to be standoffish or anything, but I have already set up a lot of things for the characters in that location to deal with and anything extra at this time would be overkill. I simply wish to avoid the problems I had in the last story in getting to what I wanted to do. Thank you.

Thanks, Grimm. I hear ya on the other thing, too. Have to make sure not to overload this story with too much stuff or it'll fall over like a top-heavy stool. The Project Omicron stuff should be worked in only if it makes sense for it to do so -- forcing it in for no other reason than to have a conflict between the two teams would be a bad idea all around.
Think I'm going to close up this talk thread and start a new one. Haven't done that in a while. :)
