Nice one, Gooz. Very cinematic, I could see the cuts between scenes in my head. You get a ![[woooOOOOoooo!]](graemlins/smilewoo.gif)

First, I want to repeat for the board what I told Gooz through IM. That was a great post. Your love and knowledge of film really shows through it. As someone else who studied the art, I commend you on your great blending of two mediums.
Secondly, Grimm, I've finally got the first Mike post in for you. I couldn't fit everything that I wanted to in it, but I'd still be writing it a Christmas if I tried that. I'll try and work the rest in at other times during down or slow times. Plus, this might be a good time to start the sub-plot we were talking about.

Sorry I aint posted in a while everyone, I aint had a chance this week... I finally got around to posting something with the Sam/Danny subplot.
Gooz... nice work. Now there's a post I'd like to do when Danny rejoins the team, and if you could hold off on Sam confronting Danny until after that, that'd be neat-o...

I was talking about the delivery made there for him. Not about THAT. Why do you think Dirk is limping? It has nothing to do with the cast. ![[wink]](images/icons/wink.gif)

Well, if one of his characters runs a cadre of assassins, I believe casual sex for another is not so immoral, after all. On another topic, it seems that in the bar remain Euro, Quantos, Chance, Mick, Grimm and Blackwulf. I am going to have Euro going to Paris for a mysterious appointment, flying by his UFO. Is there anybody who want to go with him?

You can take Mick! He's very bored and I have no plans at all for him...
Oh, and I'm gonna be away for some days, so I won't be able to not post like I do now. When I return I'll be back to my usual not posting.

It's fun writing characters who have a different moral code than you do. Makes for some interesting situations that are sure never to occur to you...
Grissom, aside from being an obvious homage to X-Men's Nightcrawler, drinks, smokes, sleeps around, steals, gambles... all things that I don't think I'd ever see myself doing. You might call it me living vicariously through a character... I call it broadening my writing horizons! ![[biiiig grin]](images/icons/grin.gif)

Chance would be up for some kind of adventure, since the bar scene really isn't his style, and he needs something to occupy his mind for a while after all the stuff with Pete's death, and the Shirley situation and all. And if Mick brings Shirley along (they'd have to agree to come along after Chance already agreed, since it would be a somewhat uncomfortable situation on his part, that could make for some interesting character moments, since Mick and Shirley don't really know Chance yet).
Dr. Quantos might tag along as well, since he's still trying to figure out all these new, pseudo-science, comic-book-like situations that are out of his realm of experience as a research scientist (IE: a Kristofer Schanz from an alternate timeline, the supposed existence of ghosts, tesseracts, and this Metatithenai) but I'll leave that up to you. Right now he's still a bit dazed from all these new experiences, he's had a few drinks (but he's not drunk), and he's willing to suspend his disbelief for the moment. But his inquisitive, questioning mind will begin to tackle these problems for himself when he gets "back to work" the next day. For now he's just going along for the ride.
Maybe the Stormloader could be mentioned in passing, at least. In Chance's timeline the team had been using it for a few months as their transport vehicle, while in this timeline Dr. Quantos just now finished purchasing it and arrived in La Perdita on it (he'll be taking a flight back to Canada when it's time to go back home), thus none of the team have seen it except Chance, who has flown it several times in his timeline. Another thing that I want to mention in the story at some point is the similar situation that both Euro and Chance find themselves in. They're both returning to "their team," yet the team is different from the ones that they were used to. For Euro, only a couple of the founding members are left and there are a lot of newbies, as well as a completely different sitatuation, what with the MBL Consulting setup with Kit Piper and all. While for Chance, although the team is similar to the one from his timeline, it's just not really "his team," since nobody knows him from before, he realizes that he is little more than a newbie himself, although he doesn't feel like one, and the team from his timeline were better organized and better trained, thanks largely in part to his presence there.

I guess Grimm didn't notice the post I had with Mick just before his. I'll edit mine out, but if Mxy wants to use it when he agrees to join Eurostar on his trip to Paris, feel free to do so. Here it is:
******************
Meanwhile, back at the bar...
"Say, Euro," Mick said as he and Shirley approached Edulcore and the Doctor, "I heard you mentioning something about hopping off to Paris?"
"Yes, would you like to come along for the ride?" asked Ed.
"Sure thing. Shirley thinks it could be romantic..." [ 09-18-2002, 09:03 PM: Message edited by: TheTimeTrust ]

Don't worry about that. It makes sense that there would be a reaction post for Grimm, considering Mxy's last post.

It shouldn't affect Mick going to Paris anyway. Maybe while you guys are there, you could run into Velo, and bring him in that way. If we're not doing the EPS thing next ish, I'd like for Grimm and a couple of other characters to go on a job in the states. But I'm holding off until I know for sure what's the plan for next ish.

But does Velo want to come back? I would be the most pleased to bring him back, but would hear that from him!
Anyway, I have been away for ONE day, and the story has progessed a lot in the meantime! Good work, especially Danny!
TTT, in issue 0 it was Quantos to explain to Euro that there were words of a possible alien invasion among various governative intelligencies. I think he should regard the UFO as a proof about it, instead of a comic book thing. Aside that, I enjoyed his point of view on what happened in the evening.

I don't think Quantos was in the right frame of mind to think about a rumour of a possible alien invasion he'd heard of so long ago when he said what he did. And if it comes back to him, he'll probably be giving the UFO and such quite a bit of considered thought before assuming an extraterrestrial explanation to be the case. He has an open mind on things, but remember that he is a scientist first and foremost. If it's not provable, it's not necessarily true in his way of thinking. Quantos is neither religious nor atheistic, since both positions require a stand of faith that their position is the correct one. Quantos would prefer to leave the matter of the existence of God in his long list of "things that science can neither prove nor disprove" and leave it at that until the situation changes.

Well, I didn't express my consdierations exactly as I would have done. More or less, what you just stated is what I was thinking. I mean, I didn't want to imply that the existence of the UFO was to taken by Quantos as a proof of the existence of the aliens, more that he should be very interested to study the UFO to see if it COULD be alien, or of Earthly technology. By the way, just to not upset alien guru Chewy ( ![[wink]](images/icons/wink.gif) ), the UFO comes from Earth, but everything will be explained later, much later.

And as for Velo, TOO COOL if he want to come back to La Perdita.
I don't think there is a need for a gimmick to reintroduce him, he could just return to his rightful place in the MBL, but if he prefers to stumble casually on the heroes in Paris, OK.
Kristogar, PM (or e-mail) to me if you want to discuss the thing, while if you just want to write yourself in, do that when you believe is the right time.

The MBL/EPS story has been postponed, but I believe that for the next issue, which is issue [b]10[b/], we should do something big, with the complete line-up, instead of sending part of the membership on separate ways.
I have a story in mind, but I don't know if it's enough big. Maybe we could do the one Mxy talked about, if he has time to play.

This all goes back to my long term "character development" plan.... yes, it's risky, but damn it, I'm living on the edge!

I've been wanting my character back in the story, but not back with the team.
I've got a killer idea for a story. It can be done down the road, so if anyone has a good plan for next issue, far be it from me to stop you, but if not, then I'll get it going. It's a concept that could conceivably involve every major player(MBL, Kristogar, EPS, others...) in the Hero Revolution. I think you'd all have some fun with it, too.
