I always write Danny (in whatever incarnation you have him) kind of the way I see you. Some of it's ficitonal character-driven personality. The rest, though, is pure Dan-O. And, as such, I've never known you to be very....warm? close? intimate?....with others. Therefore, it's not like I've had, nor will have, Danny and Sam in a "Very Special Episode of..."-type situation. They're just two guys on the same team that have the most in common (i.e. age, abilites, attitude, etc.), and that's why they hang out together. Same thing with Mick and Larry.

I like the hovercraft idea. Go with that. Turkish would find it highly uncomfortable cramped in a chartered plane. Size and ability-wise, either way.
