We're now living on the Caribbean island nation of La Perdita in a fourteen-story apartment building. Each of the team has their own apartment. The apartment that TC lives in is on the fifth floor across from Sam's (Shift).
Through the wealth Pete's gained through his uncanny luck at card games and the lottery, the team was wealthy enough to begin a consulting company (MBL Consulting, Inc), hiring on Dr. Quantos as a scientic advisor and a man named Kit Piper as the financial advisor to the team and the consulting company's working president. Of course, the team IS the company and Kit is their employee, not the other way around. Mick's girlfriend Shirley has taken the job of secretary.
Sonja was shot and was at first believed dead, but she survived and the team knows that she's alive but gone. A strange amnesiac individual named Turkish Stringfellow (Pro X's character) has appeared on the doorstep and is now part of the team in return for the team's agreement to help him discover who he is (memory loss and all).
Anyways, read the "Selling Out" story and the current one -- they're both really good -- and you'll get up to speed (heh) quick enough.
