I'm all for starting with a blank slate, and wrapping up the convoluted continuity we've created in our old universe.
If we're gonna go with this new universe (or "Ultimate MBL" to steal Marvel's terminology...), we might as well lose the War and kill everyone off, just for the hell of it...
