After the destruction of TIAMAT and the dissapearence of Dr John Grey, all the kids were returned to their homes.

Little Pete McLebovich was lucky that his mother had been kidnapped by Colony, so she was now in America instead of being on her house in Esperitigonzia (the little European country where Peter was raised), and he wasn't sent to an orphanage like all the kids whose parents weren't avaliable.

Now Pete and his mother are staying in a hotel room, while they wait for the Esperetigonzian embassy to send some papers they need to leave the country.

Ms. McLebovich looks at the kids playing in the hotel pool. She thinks "Why can't my Pete be more like them... I know that having creepy entirely black eyes and those powers doesn't help, but..."

Then she looks at Pete and... realizes he's not there. The last time she saw him, he was sitting on a chair by the pool, and now the even the chair is gone...

...or is it? She looks at the pool, and then at the place where Pete was sitting, and the chair is there. But it wasn't there one second ago. It's almost as if reality had made a mistake and repaired it as soon as she noticed it...

...like HE used to do...

Somewhere else...

"Who are you?" Pete asks to the man in the robotic armor "Why did you take me away?"

The man just looks at Pete. He says nothing.
He waves his hand and Pete is teleported back to the pool.

"Goodbye..."

A tear comes out of the man's eye.

Back in the Hotel...

"PETE!!!!!!!" Ms. McLebovich yells, as she runs to him and holds him in her arms "Where were you, Pete? What happened?"

"I dunno..." Pete answers "A man... with an armor... took me to some kinda void and just looked at me..."

"A man... a man" Ms McLebovich says "Go to the room, Pete..."

"But--"

"Just... go to the room... please?"

Pete says "OK" and takes the elevator to the room where they are staying. Ms. McLebovich stays there, thinking.

Then she looks at the celing and says "I know you are there. Show yourself"

Some of the kids in the pool start looking at her...

"SHOW YOURSELF, GOBDAMMIT!!!"

The momen she notices everyone's looking at her, she finds herself in a void... and a man in an armor appears after her.

"Hello, Marc... it's been a while, huh?"

"Hi, Linda... Yes. Yes it has"

"My name is not Linda anymore. I changed it. After I had to leave the country, remember?"

"Yes... Look, I'm sorry--"

"You don't have to be sorry. It's not your fault. We loved each other... It's not your fault that the people didn't understand our love. They exiled us both when our affair was revealed. I was a simple secretary, you were The Moderator... hell, you were God..."

"Yes, that was my nickname, remember...? 'God'..."

"SHUT UP!"

"Why are you mad...?"

"Why am I mad? You spend 16 years away and now you dare to return and-and..."

"I was exiled from this universe, Linda..."

"Whatever! You are not a part of his life, and I don't want you to be! It's bad enough that he has your powers..."

"He has my powers...???"

"Yes. Didn't you notice the way his eyes look...? Everytime he looks at me with those eyes he reminds me of you... and that hurts, you know? A lot... So why don't you take your armor and go away forever...?"

"That's exactly what I'm going to do, Linda. I came here just to say goodbye to him... and you"

"What do you mean...?"

"I'm leaving this reality. Forever. I know you could feel me sometimes... when I looked at you from here. Well, now you won't feel me anymore"

"Why... why are you leaving?"

"I'm needed somewhere else, and I don't think I'll be able to come back"

He's right, she always felt him... and even if she didn't like to recognize it, feeling him added "magic" to her life... Now that won't happen anymore.

He slowly gets closer to her, as she does the same thing... they kiss... and as soon as she opens her eyes to look at his blue eyes for one last time... she finds herself back in the hotel.

"Ma'am? Ma'am, you OK?" a little kid asks.

She stays there, like a statue.

"You wee yellin' weird things, ma'am! You OK?"

"No. No, I'm not" she says, as she walks to the elevator.

She walks to her room feeling a huge void inside her... She didn't know what she had until she lost it.

The door opens and Pete comes out and says "Mom, the embassy called, they..."

"Pete???"

"Yeah...?"

"Y-Your eyes..."

"Yeah? They're freaking you out again?"

"They... they are... normal..." she nervously looks for soemthing in her purse.

"Normal??? Normal as in--???"

"Normal as in blue with white pupils!!!!!" she says as she takes a pocket mirror from her purse and shows it to him.

"It's gone... IT'S GONE!!!!"

They hug, and he says "Will they get blackened again or thye'll stay like this? What should I do, mom?"

"You should thank God, son" she answers, with tears on her eyes that look at the ceiling "You should thank God"
