"We're going to take that bastard down."There was only one way to save this world, or whatever was left of it, and that was to take Burdette down. The creature, who had told Tobias to simply call him "Charlie", had agreed to assemble his people to help.
"Come as soon as you can." Tobias said. "Giovacchino and I will find Burdette and find out just what we're up against."
"He was last spotted in California." Charlie said. "Good luck, you will need it."
The two leaguers were soon on their way. "Who do you think did it?" The cat asked. "Who do you think killed you?"
"I don't know." Tobias said. "But whoever did it apparently got to me before I told Walker what I found out."
"I wonder how the rest of the team is doing." Giovacchino wondered.

"You'll come and stay with us." Jesse said. "Provided we live through this."
