Daniel tried to stand, and balanced for a moment on his hands and knees.
"What... the hell... was that...?" he muttered to himself, short of breath.
He noticed the giant red figure of The Colony moving steadily towards the MBL headquarters, destroying everything in it's path.
"Can't let it... get to... the League..."
Daniel tried a direct telepathic attack. He opened up his mind, and tried to look into the mind of the hideous creature.
He screamed, and fell back to the ground.
Whatever 'The Colony' was, it mind wasn't anything near human. It was more like... a collection of chaotic thoughts, with one primary destructive goal.
Daniel staggered to his feet, and went to stop it.
