Since you're about to go insane anyway, you may want to check out this site... it's a weekly diary, written by an engineer/ geek who's just become a father. (It's up to Week 34 now, I think.) It's a very un-sentimental look at the miracle of childbirth and baby-raising. Yet more tender and funny than any Hallmark card, between the lines anyway. Plus, he makes merciless fun of his helpless newborn daughter.
