I don't think it was. Certain portions of Barkers work over lap and cross over like Harry D'amour from The Last Illusion (which was the title of the shrt story that became Lord of Illusion) showing up in Everville (and in Clives next book of short tales I hear he's gonna meet Pinhead [who will be dying in this tale] in some capacity).
Other stuff seems to be isolated such as Imajica or the Damnation Game. Then there's stuff that you never really know if it fits with anything else but you think it does. For example Galilee just
feels like it should take place in the same world as Sacrement.
