IIRC, its ""Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense"", a very threatening motto: ""You who think bad thoughts will get bad things."" I think Henry V said it when his court tittered over his gallant (read: sleazy) effort to replace the slipped garter of a woman with whom he was dancing. It led to the Order of the Garter, which is an honour still bestowed by the English monarch for gallant efforts.
