"Halleluja! I finally made it through (the wilderness, somehow I made it through. Didn't know how lost I was until I found you) the whole shebang of a thread. Please congratulate me, as I am no longer a Teabag Virgin. I have popped my cherry, put it in my mouth and am now currently foaming and gasping, as I had forgotten that I'm allergic to cherries. Some random observations I've made:
1. You are one of the friendliest internet communities (commun-I-TEA-s) I've yet encountered.
2. Many of you seem to know each other from RL. Is this true, or am I being fooled by the friendliness?
3. No. 1&2 are probably interrelated
4. Some of you should check out http://home.pacifier.com/~ntierney/oksoda.htm
5. The ""Lost teas""-section is brilliant. WHERE do you pick up all this stuff?
6. Being a philistine, I mainly drink Lipton's Yellow Label bags. Before you stone me, consider the fact that I'm sadly allergic to most more exotic teas. (I USED to drink Twining's Earl Grey exclusively, but can't tolerate the Bergamot)
7. The best tea I've yet to drink is made in Palestine: You take a glass (they serve tea in glasses down there) with hot water, add tea (Lipton's again) and fresh mint leaves, plus sugar. Nothing beats it!
8. The Arabs also, alongside the Cubans, make the best Coffee in the world (Black as the Devil, Sweet as Sin, Strong as Temptation)
9. I share birthday with Thomas Paine, John Davis Rockefeller, Tom Selleck and Oprah Winfrey.
10. Anal seep hell is an anagram for my name (in english)
11. I'm off to have luch and drink tea right now. (Yes, Lipton once more, so sue me)
