We desperately need the U.N.'s help. This attitude by both Bush and his supporters of "my way or the highway" isn't going to win us any help and it certainly isn't good for Iraq or the region.

All some of the ..um "Axis of Weasels" want is a larger U.N. role in rebuilding Iraq and a handoff of authority to the Iraqis more quickly than Washington wants. I think it was time to listen and admit mistakes instead of simply repeating the same propaganda of the past year. Some of which is rapidly evaporating as demonstrated by the British Defense Ministers quote above. Once a truly free press is restored to the U.S., i'm sure we'll be getting similar revelations on our side of the pond.
