Yeah, that was the Captain of the Hammer, the ship with the "big ass". I'm sure he said 'damn' in every line he had.

The machines should have just used cows and sheep as batteries. the matrix would have been nothing but an endless field of grass.

I've got better logic than the machines.

'Cause if they catch you in the back seat,
Trying to pick her locks,
They're gonna send you back to Mother,
In a cardboard box.

That fat fuck Harry from aintitdrool compared Zeo to Bin Laden, Agent Smith to Communism, and the machines to the United States. That fucker needs to read a damn book or stop sucking down babies.

I suppose there's nothing I can do about the $14.00 I lost foolishly this afternoon. [no no no]

A lot of sound and fury signifying NOTHING.

Year of the Matrix, indeed. Feh!

I went opening night with my mom and my girlfriend. They paid for me, and I got in as a senior citizen. Free for me, discounted for them, the movie still wasn't worth the price of admission. Man did it ever suck.

I didn't even know the boards were back up until Dave emailed me and told me. 'Twas the cookies that did it. Once I deleted 'em I was able to come back.

I kind of enjoyed this due to very low expectations. Apalling script moments though. It's like they borrowed James Cameron's cliche book.

The attack of the robo-jism was pretty well done.

The brothers Wachowski have accomplished something that has only been accomplished by the likes of Coppola & Spielberg. They too made an intensely unsatisfying trilogy. REVOLUTIONS is mind-bogglingly boring bullshit, easily the most broke-dick chapter of THE MATRIX saga. There is little of the hand-to-hand combat that made the first part so engrossing, save for one fight that’s more than a little similar to the flying battle between the Man of Steel and General Zod in SUPERMAN 2. Late in the film, (avert your eyes, spoiler-hating dorks!) one of the many Agent Smiths says to "The One" something like, "Why do you keep getting up and continuing to fight?" And Neo replies, "Because I choose to." Which sums up the only way anyone could enjoy the MATRIX trilogy in its entirety – because they choose to. All charisma and thrills are gone (Larry Fishburne is forced to play fourth fiddle to Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett-Smith and some asian guy), replaced by a bunch of boring-ass characters (introduced in RELOADED) battling it out to determine if Earth is going to be a machine world or a humans-who-act-like-machines world. It’s amazing to look at and amazingly uninteresting at the same time. To put it in agonizingly inane MATRIX-speak, it sucks because it sucks.

I just saw this movie last night.

There were a lot of melodramatic scenes, including...well, everything with Neo and Trinity.

My brother watched it with me, and he was trying to make the movie make sense with a bunch of symbolism(I think he's desperately hoping it's like Final Fantasy X or something). We were talking about the "Mobile Ave." thing, and need to know if it was spelled Mobile or Mobil. My brother thinks that train station represents the Middle East in some way, and that it was spelled "Mobil" as a direct reference to gas/oil. I think it was spelled with the e on the end, but the reference could still be an indirect one...

Somebody told me they saw an interview with the brothers where they talked about having to dumb down this movie because people didn't like the second one. I'm thinking, "fuck you, dudes, you throw together a bunch of crap that nobody understands, that's your fault, not ours."

Anyways, the price of admission was worth it...because afterwards, we snuck into Intolerable Cruelty, and the Coen brothers prove once again no other brother tandem can hope to rate with them. [woooOOOOoooo!]

Well I waited to see it so I wouldn't have to deal with a shitload of annoying teenagers in the theater and it worked: middle row, dead center. Perfect view of the movie.
Kristogar: rearrange Mobil and what do you have? Limbo. A place in between worlds.

What ruined the movie was Keanu's horrible acting. In the first Matrix he wasn't nearly this horrible. When Sati asked him if he was from the Matrix he said "Yes no well I was" like he was reading it off a cue card for the first time. "Neo, I belive!"? STFU and open the damn door! Mary Alice wasn't as horrible an Oracle in the movie as she was in the game. And like most everyone else, I loved the final fight.
