PC Language came about in the 80s, correct? That was the offspring of the hippies.
But, without the hippie bashing, if parents had just taught their kids common decency and manners, there would've been no need for PC.
And when did saying that someone is black become offensive? Hell, in the 60s, it was radical, and the then-colored folks wanted to be referred to as "black". Remember, James Brown was saying loud that he was Black and proud, not that he was an african american with mocha-colored skin and he was proud.
Well, being called "white" offends me. I want to be known as "pigmentally challenged".
Here's an odd idea... why not say "that guy over there", instead of "that black guy over there"? Sentence still works... the point is still gotten across...
