i think you do learn a lot in school when you're little... but kindergarten you should have some of those skills before you get there. kgart.i think is just for socialization and getting kids used to being near their peers. theyve gotta mature with the age group. there's a kid who's gonna be in my class who is really smart but he should be in first grade. he doesnt play well with the other kids and he still acts like a baby when the others only have their moments. he still needs another year to get on a par with the other kids maturity wise.
some educational things are fun that the kids learn in school like dinosaurs never flew or lived in water like we thought. Or how about when you learned about vinegar and baking soda for volcanoes? they'll most likey retain that forever. so some parts of the primary grades are needed for education and socialization. But high school is pure crap! if you go to college youve gotta relearn that crap. and if you dont go to college what are you gonna use that stuff for anyway?
