1) TALL!!! -- i would've loved to have been 6'3" in high school. hell, i would've loved to have been 7'3" in grammar school. i always wanted to be tall -- not even abnormally tall, just tall enough to clear the top shelf. 2) handsome! - not as big a priority as tall, even tho its just as superficial. tho it'd be cool just to have people say "whoa, lookit THAT guy" without... y'know... throwing rotted fruit afterwards.

Robby dont be ridiculous. Your both those things hun. At least to me anyway :)
hmmmm, I dont want to be taller even tho I complain about being short..
hmmm, oh I know!
I always wanted to be strong. I mean I'm pretty strong now but not as strong as I like to be. I want to be strong enough to beat up a 300 pound wrestler from Detroit if I had to but not look beefy-about-to-errupt. I think that would be nice.
Yep that'll be good :)

I can relate to the height thing. At 5'10", I don't feel short most of the time ... but all the other males in my family are at least 6'3". My little brother is 6'3", my dad is 6'4", my baby brother is 6'5" ... so every Christmas and Thanksgiving, I feel short. :)
I wish I didn't have to watch my weight. It isn't bad, but my waistline seems to be creeping up more and more lately (spending too much time on the internet). It scares me a little. My uncle, who I physically resemble a great deal, is twenty years older than me and so out-of-shape that he needs a breather when he sleeps. I don't want to ever be like that.
('Scuse me ... gotta go jogging ... will continue this post when I get back.)
I wish I were more confident around women. I'm pretty cool with most of them, but the ones that I really fall for make my stomach so queasy I can barely speak. If you ever see me puke on a girl's shoes, you know I'm in love.
I wish I were a better debater. I think I know some stuff, sometimes, and that maybe the world would be better off if everybody else knew it, too. But while I'm great at solving riddles, I'm not so good at explaining the answer to anybody else -- or even that there's a riddle in the first place.

Keynes, the guy who invented macroeconomics and a extremely smart and successful guy, had these dying words: "I wish I had drunk more champagne."
I kind of think along those lines. I wish I had more time to do stuff, and experience things. Life is too short.

HA! I was 6'3" when I started high school. It did have its disadvantages though. I was really thin and lanky and had no coordination. And everyone wanted me to play basketball, but I sucked at it.

I always wanted to be a flute player in a major symphony orchestra. For real it was my HUGE dream in high school. I trained for tryouts two years and auditioned to be accepted into the music school at UNT. Sad part is, once I got there I realized the only way into a flute prof's studio is if youve trained with them since high school (I'll always curse myself for not doing that) or a hugely like $10,000-30,000 flute which had be a Brannen, Haynes, or a Powell. Mine was a Pearl flute which is mediocre compared to all those. Anyways they stuck me with a first year grad student who had never taught flute lessons before. So I changed majors to math and c.s.! I still play but I'll always miss that dream!
And I did want to be taller too just cuz I'm 5'2"!

I always wanted to be better/more confident at interacting with people, being social - not necessarily popular, but just not an outsider or outcast. But at this point, I think I have too much psychological scarring for that.
See, I have a very different personality in real life than I do online. The anonymity of a message board provies a safety shield of some sort, and I have time to think about how to respond instead of ahving to maintain a realtime conversation (and I can also edit or delete posts, which I can't do in real life.)

Now that I am on the wrong side of 30 and drifting, slowly but surely, towards a me-shaped hole in the pavement, I am painfully aware of doors slamming shut and all the things that I can no longer have.
A career in a proffession that allowed me to punch at my intellectual weight would have been nice, but it's unrealistic to think that could happen any more. That window of opportunity belongs to the young.
In this respect I am my own worst enemy. I had more chances than a lot of people do, but I let them slide, for various reasons. I've often thought about a stable long-term relationship and maybe a family, however I know that I am not suited to this way of life and that, if I found myself in that kind of domestic situation, it would make me deeply unhappy.
I don't really know what I want out of life, but I'll know it when I see it.

I always wanted to remain a message board moderator (I was a mod at two separate boards, before being overthrown) but a nefarious gay message board moderator continues to thwart my ambitions.

True. But I wanted to be a mod here, so I can take over the DC Boards or something.
I'm greedy.

Mmmmkay, I thought of something.
I've always wanted to do porn...seriously, but I could never take the risk of my family finding out. Also, and this should probably be more important than the family thing...should, but STDs are a bitch, and they scare me somethin' fierce. Not as much as the look on my parents' faces would, but somethin' fierce nonetheless.
What makes it okay, though, is that porn is only something I've been curious about doing, not a dream. I'll be more than okay if I never find my name on the credits of a Blacks on Blondes movie.
I could still do the adult entertainment thing, though. Miami (which I no longer live in, btw) has a metropolitan area filled with clubs, some in which men dance exclusively for women. Would be fun, but I don't think my life's schedule will permit that either. Perhaps something else I'll never get to do.

What I wish is that I had stuck with music during college and tried to actually do something career-wise in a band. I'm not saying I would have made it big, but I was in bands through high school and college, and at the start of my senior year in college, I had to a chance to get another band going, and my GF said, "No. It's time for you to focus on your degree and let music go." This is the same GF who later, as my wife, said, "OK, once you finish your Masters degree, it's time for you to quit school. Don't stay to get the Ph. D. You need to get out of school and get a job. You've been in school long enough. It's my turn." And my ex wonders why I still have some bitterness toward her about this...

Sounds corny, but I've always wanted to just once, just ONCE look down on Earth from space. Just to see how it looks for real.
If I could do that, I could die happy afterwards!
