diet for a new america by john robbins. very sobering, indeed. as a curious aside, less than a year later an abc news/primetime live report made mention of the unclean condition of much of the "meat" - how is it any different from the flesh of our own bodies? - coming from slaughterhouses, and also noted the high incidence of suicide among workers at such places.
q) why is it so easy for the majority of people to blindly lead a lemming-like existence with no regard to others or the world around them which they impact through their decisions - complacency is a choice - on a daily basis? one is either a part of the solution or part of the problem. why is this so bloody difficult for them to comprehend?
