Trying to download the Thorns (opend for Mayer) it is Mathew Sweet, Sean Mullins and Pete Gorge that make up the band...they are like a yong Crosby, Stills and Nash...very cool....but damn Limewire and Kazza being bitches and Napter won't open as it is not compatible with my system...bastards all of them...
I'm a huge fan of Matthew Sweet, but for some odd reason haven't found anything by the Thorns that I have liked...it's weird. Probably for the exact reason that you specified, they sound like a young Crosby, Stills and Nash...
