Yeah, Doc -- what I meant was that I enjoyed the interaction between the B-Team and the C-Men, something I don't think I could write as I don't have a good handle on the characterizations of the B-Teamers.

The whole jealousy angle with Otto and the C-Men which began in the first C-Men post is a kind of running joke due to their misunderstanding of what the B-Team is (which was itself a parody of Mxy's and my original misunderstanding of the B-Team back when you and Grimm first intro'd them). While I'd probably have liked to have seen that angle played up a bit more in the future, I think it was humourously resolved in your post.

Also, I don't anticipate the C-Men ever being part of Vanguard International proper, despite their being used in issue #14 like a wad of kleenex (ew!) and in your latest Christmas Special post. They're really meant to be a "C"-grade super-hero wannabe team with genuine metahumans as members who just happen to be very strange and sometimes incompetant. It's why I had them find an old tool shack in the alleyway out back from the Vanguard Complex rather than actually becoming residents or signing on as "reservists" or something. They really lived in a more skewed version of reality than Vanguard or even the B-Team would. And ultimately the C-Team is just something fun to write for Mxy and myself (and anyone else who wants to use 'em) whenever we find the time. The C-Team is my "humour fix" for the Hero Headquarters, really. And although I may use Dr. Huerta some time in the future in his role as Vanguard's psychologist, I probably won't try my hand at the B-Team for the reasons stated above.
