I think Danny should be the team leader, really, since the leadership thing involves being a good representative of the team for the public, and Grimm -- while I love the character and think he's a great leader on the battlefield -- is just too 'camera-shy' and lacks the diplomacy skills necessary to get Vanguard "out of the doghouse" in the public's eye. What Vanguard International really needs right now is to clean up its public image, and I think Danny is now the only man on the team capable of doing that. I do think that he needs to eventually resolve his differences with Miss X, though, if things are ever going to work... This story could be a good time to do that.
