i think the main point is that... the american media was (and is) discussed and debated and accused and supported. any thread in this forum makes that clear.
none of us really know whether to trust cnn or fox or pbs or whomever. but we get the other side of whatever we want to hear. its out there for us. and we're continually questioning the media, as a whole, on a daily basis (again, as seen here, in this forum).
i've rarely, if ever, seen other media outlets being held accountable.
dave has reported that there are countries and people around the world that dislike america, for seemingly no (or incorrect) reasoning. ... thats a direct result of "false advertising," like the french media.
