I thinks my favorite Schaffenberger Lois art was from a story reprinted in issue #84.
Lois thought she was gonna die, so she did all sorts of stupid shit.
On the Splash Page for the story, Lois is sitting in a rocket... beside her is a calm, cool, collected monkey!
But that wasn't the best part...
A Few pages later, we're back to the rocket. Lois is trying to report her story from the rocket, and in the seat beside her, is the monkey... the pissed off monkey.
Schaffenberger's art is so good, you can almost hear what the monkey is thinking. One can hear the monkey say to himself "BITCH! Steal my thunder...."
Schaffenberger not only drew the best Lois, but some damn good monkeys as well!
