Although I'm still iffy on the whole non-technological-sword thing, I do think I will enjoy writing Mason. Gives me my Bell/Foreman-fix. How old is Mason, anyway?
He could be physically anywhere from 35 to 50, but he's not. Read the hints carefully.
As far as the non-technological thing, just remember that it's a VERY localized effect and generally affects techno-things out of his immediate vicinity only if they might harm him.
