How many have heard of this book? A Show of hands...?

Published by DC/Pirhana Press from 1989 to 1992, it was... well, fucked up.

The art from the First Issue, A Cotton Candy Autopsy, was used on Mr. Bungle's first album.

The Second issue was about the Deadjohnsons, who are a nice, upstanding, dead family. One day, God comes for a visit, and tells them to pack their things, he's flooding the earth again, and they're in charge of repopulation. Hilarity ensues.

Ya get the tone of the books now?

They're rather hard to find, but if ya do, buy 'em. If ya like Vertigo or indies, you'll love 'em.

I remember seeing ads for this, but not the books themselves. Sound like fun.

I never bought the books, but the Mr' Bungle album having the same art was reason for me to buy the album. The album I thought tried to hard to be "crazy".

I'd give this a try, but I'm not the slightest bit ugly.
