Would it completely kill anyone if I were to write Grissom out of the main story sometime soon? I'd like to write a one-shot with him over at FRINGE (or here) that I wouldn't be able to do if he were wit the team. Leslie could be a temporary replacement while he took off, so it wouldn't be like the team was without a specialist in his particular area.

That, and Phil's arrival pretty much obliterated any niche my character may've had...

But, yeah... anyone have any plans that are vitally important for Grissom to be a part of, or can he be written out?
