Gooz, if you want another motivation for Xiang, I am giving it to you:

REVENGE

Xiang empire was destroyed by a disguised attack of the USA government all over the world (see issue 3) at her facilities, giving the blame to the Revolutionaries, as an answer to the destruction of both the MCCA and TriVex. The USA are the single, biggest anti-metahuman power in the world, so her struggle for metahuman liberation is also a way to get revenge over the ones that destroyed her empire.

The chosing of Euro has to do with this, but don't have me spoiling all, please.
