I've been quickly reading through the posts and have enjoyed it all, though I would caution everyone not to write Mason Templar in too much of a "Viking" style (though I can see a case being made that this world is "reverting" him as well as the others) -- I see him as having a great deal more dry and cutting humour whenever possible, quick to criticise (in a non-serious way through humour, I mean) the lack of planning so far, et cetera, resulting in the team running around like chickens with their heads cut off and reacting to problems rather than being pro-active, etc. There's a lot of "unprofessionalism" so far that Mason would be laughing about and making fun of the team for even as he enjoys getting back into the adventuring life.
Man, I so want to post something right now, but I've still got too many other things I need to do first, such as beginning an essay that's due... TOMORROW!  ARGH!
Anyway, I won't be able to post anything until Friday, at this rate. I will definitely post something this upcoming weekend, in any event.

Thanks. Been trying to think of a way to work it into a story without it being pure fabrication. Then, it just hit me this morning: "There's a fucking crime scene in the story now."
My original plan, though, was to sperate the group to find clues, use a silly/elaborate trap to capture the archer, then pull off his mask after they reveal what all the clues meant. But this way was shorter.

I like what you've written. Pro. One thing though, Drake is about 27 years old so he would have been about 12 in 1988 and 15 in '91. He didn't actually start his crimefighting until he was 18 (in '94) and it was all pretty small time until '95 when he started his partnership with Jessica Blackburn and the Nightwatch persona was actually born. He didn't get bonded to Drax until spring of 2002 (that's when my solo story is taking place) so most of Drake's publicized activities as a vigilante would have taken place between January of '95 and April of 2002.
Sorry I didn't share this earlier, but hopefully you can make use of it now. We could just explain the mix-up with the dates with Ozzy being overly excited about talking to Drake about his "adventures".

Pro? Are you able to read my deleted post, or what? There was not a but. I found your post fantastic, exciting from moment one to the last moment. And the idea that Ozzie is a fan of Drake is incredibly cool. In the post I asked also about Drake's date, because I though he was younger than you depicted, and wanted to know from the source. Then, after I posted, I saw his post, so I deleted mine. But there was not a but. I know how you write, and that kind of "data" from you are not always reliable.
